A New Race of Humanity
Jesus Used His Faith to be Raised Up in Resurrection Power!
Yes, God the Father is the One Who raised Him from the dead AND God needed HIs own Son's Faith to be hooked up with Him for this mighty feat.
Psalm 16:9-10
Therefore My heart is glad, and My glory rejoices; My body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon Me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful One see decay.
Acts 2:24-33 & 13:32-37
24But God raised Him from the dead, freeing Him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on Him. 25David said about Him: “ ‘I saw the Lord always before Me. Because He is at My right hand, I will not be shaken. 26Therefore My heart is glad and My tongue rejoices; My body also will rest in hope, 27because You will not abandon Me to the realm of the dead, You will not let your holy One see decay. 28You have made known to Me the paths of life; You will fill Me with joy in Your presence.’ 29“Fellow Israelites, I can tell you confidently that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is here to this day. 30But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his throne. 31Seeing what was to come, he spoke of the resurrection of the Messiah, that He was not abandoned to the realm of the dead, nor did His body see decay. 32God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of it. 33Exalted to the right hand of God, He has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.
Jesus used these scriptures to stir up His faith for His own resurrection! He knew the Father wouldn't let Him down! He speaks His word to perform it! We are to do the same thing.
A New Race of Humanity
His resurrection created a whole new race of humanity of which He was the first born. A race of people who worship God in spirit and in truth. All worship prior was in the soul’s realm only. (ie: song, instruments, dance, heart felt praise and animal sacrifice as seen in psalms.) But we, as this new race of humanity worship Him in spirit and in truth!!
Our spirit linked together with the Holy Spirit. How magnificent is that?
That is why we are in this world but not of it. This world is not our home.
We are of the Realm of Holiness. The sacrifice of Jesus created us brand new, restored to innocence, a holy people. We are neither greek nor jew, but a new creature, a new race of humanity that never existed before. (Colossians 1:18)
A new race of humanity born into the Kingdom of God as kings and priests. (Ephesians 2:14-21) Jesus the first born among many brethren. He is the Author and Finisher of our faith and Praise God, He always has a perfect work.
We are a race of people who have His law in our hearts and minds
and are graced with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. As we press on to the
mark of our high calling, like little children we grow up into the fullness of
His Holiness without spot or blemish.
Stop thinking we are part of this world. We are not. Stop seeing your self as a sinner. You are a new form of humanity in Christ.
The sooner you start to see yourself as brand new, the easier it will be to
leave the old ways behind. Make repentance a daily part of your prayer life
letting old habits fade away. Jesus is coming for His Bride without spot or wrinkle and He has made you that way - Ephesians 5:26-27 - “(Christ) to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the Word, and to present her to Himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.”
