  • Battle of the Immortals - Knowing Your A | Kamp Jesus

fallen angels, warfare, end times, prophecy, bible, teaching, authority of the believer, nephilim, hybrids, Christian, Jesus, Genesis, Enoch, Jasher, Jubilees, cryptids Battle of the Immortals and Knowing Your Authority Article below or click link for PDF PDF Battle of the Immortals and Knowing Your Authority (I will only be noting most scriptures for brevity in this article. You will have to look them up for full insight. It will build your strength.) 1. Greater is He that is in you, than he who is in the world - 1 John 4. 2. Creatures in the Old Testament 3. How to fight 4. You don’t know what don’t know…and it can kill you 5. Seed War 6. Power of the enemy 7. Enemy’s Tactics 1. Greater is He that is in you, than he who is in the world - 1 John 4. My people perish for lack of knowledge… Hosea 4:6 Ignorance of the enemy is not a justifiable excuse if we lose. And losing can sometimes mean losing your life before your time and not fulfilling your calling. It’s vital to know what Jesus has given you in Him to fight: Spiritually and Physically. You have to know that Jesus in you is greater than anything the enemy has. Anything! I say this because of how things are in this world and what is coming - Days of Noah - (Luke 17:26-30). This passage on the surface says one thing but as you study this out you find it means something far bigger, especially if you read 1 Enoch and Genesis 6. It speaks of something far more sinister. We are at the start of it and things will get much worse to where fallen angels, and all of their offspring like giants plus all their hybrid creatures (cryptids from mythology and folklore) including “aliens” will be seen by everyone. Many are already sharing on social media their encounters. It will soon be everywhere, including on the news broadcasts. This is what God spoke of in those passages about the “Days of Noah” and many other scriptures that speak of these monstrous creatures -big and small. These offspring of the fallen ones are what God calls “inhabitants” in His Word. And it’s all over the Old Testament. Like Genesis, Exodus, Numbers, 1 & 2 Samuel, 1 & 2 Chronicles, and even Daniel 4 where Nebuchadnezzar gets turned into a wild animal for a period of 7 years as a judgement before God returns him back to normal. Practically all of the Old Testament speaks of these types of creatures…we just never realized it until the Lord recently opened it up, I would say on the whole for the Body of Christ scripture has been opened up by the Lord the last 10 years. These creatures - all of them - are the immortals. Once a creature is alive it cannot cease to exist. God is life and there is no darkness in Him. Just like any parent with their children, the parent cannot control their children. Their children will do what they want to do. Same with God and all of His creation. He has given them life. What they do with it is up to them. God has given rules of how to operate but His creatures don’t have to behave. It is up to their free-will. This is why He gave His Son Jesus to destroy ALL the works of the devil (I John 3) and what Jesus did stands for all eternities and worlds - forever - Ephesians 1:21 (17-23) & 3:21 (14-21). This disobedience will never happen again. Read Revelation chapters 19-22 with this in mind. Those that know how to stand in Jesus will be fine. Those that do not…with the strong delusion as 1 & 2 Thessalonians calls it…well…it’s obvious. Luke 21:26 “men’s hearts fail them for what they see coming on the earth.” * 2. Creatures in the Old Testament In the Old Testament all of the wars were against giants and hybrids which is why God wanted them totally wiped out, including their animals (we can only imagine what the “inhabitants” were doing with their animals). I call those cities and “inhabitants” - for they are not “men” - I call them “ites”. Like Jebusites, Hittites, Canaanites, Moabites, and so on. God also uses the term “mighty men” or “mighty” to refer to the offspring of fallen ones: nephilim/giants. Re-read Genesis 6 and Joel chapters 2-3. Joel 2-3 has yet to occur! Take a look at 2 Samuel 23: 20; 1 Chronicles 12:8. Second Samuel talks of lion-faced men, that is what “arials” mean, and Moab is pagan and infiltrated with offspring of the fallen ones, it’s one of the “ites” cities. 1 Chronicles 12:8 also speaks of lion-faced men who were fierce in battle. And Jasher 36:26-35 - (part) “There is a great and terrible storm that came across the sea and settle on the asses…a group of about 120 great and terrible animals to come out of the forest by the seashore by Anah feeding his asses. And those animals, from their middle downward, were in the shape of the children of men, and from their middle upward, some had the likeness of bears, and some the likeness of the keephas, with tails behind them from between their shoulders reaching down to the earth, like the tails of the ducheephath, and these animals came and mounted and rode upon these asses, and led them away, and they went away unto this day.” This account in Jasher so scared Anah the donkey herder, he never went out again. Now I don’t know what “keephas” or “ducheephath” are, I haven’t been able to find it anywhere…but we know it isn’t good. These are the types of creatures that are coming back. And notice, they came out of the forest. There are many current reports of creatures found in the forest and national parks. Knowing who you are in Christ Jesus and the power of His Blood is the only way to fend off these creatures - “They overcame him (satan and his forces) by the Blood of The Lamb and by the Word of His testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death.” Revelation 12:11. Look at how Jesus did it in Luke 4 and Matthew 4. He spoke the Word to the devil. * 3. How to fight Knowing you are IN Jesus, It’s The Lord who will strengthen you Stay in relationship with the Lord, talk with Him and stay in His Word because His Word is Him speaking to you! He will lead you by His Word. Elisha stayed in constant communication with the Lord and knew how to fight! There are many ancient documents that were the first writings of the Bible like the Book of Adam; 1 Enoch; books of Noah; books of Abraham and Jacob - I’m certain both Elijah, Elisha, and all the prophets of old used these books. You can see it in how they stood up for God. Elisha knew that God had his back even when he was up against demonic rulers because of what he read and staying in prayer. Check 2 Kings 6. Observe throughout the Bible how the men of God fought, fought against these hybrids - they always went to God first! Always ask Him what He wants. This is what we are to do. In Joshua we see how Joshua went to God before the battles. Chapter 7 shows the one time when he didn’t and what happened. David was also an amazing warrior in battle but he had tough times and we see how he got through it - Praise! When David was at his lowest he praised God! This stirred up his faith in “Who” God is and his strength was built up and brought out the joy of the Lord. The joy of the Lord is our strength (Nehemiah 8). It’s part of the fruit of the Spirit and it has to be tapped into by praise. This is how we get through it. In fact “praise” defeats the enemy every time - look at 2 Chronicles 20 - there was a great army of “ites”, 2 armies actually, and the king - Jehoshaphat - called all of Judah and Israel together to pray and fast to the Lord and said, “Our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You.”, verse 12. God told them that the battle was not theirs but God’s! Then He told them to sing praises to God as the armies were mounting against them, the Moabites and Ammonites were struck with terror and turned on each other and killed one another! 1 & 2 Samuel and 1 & 2 Chronicles and other heroes in the faith like in Judges (including Deborah, for the ladies reading this), and Numbers are more great examples of men and women fighting and won with God on their side. In Judges with Sampson we see someone, a prophet, who was disobedient and what happened. We have all been disobedient with our callings at some point. But when we get things right, like Sampson did at the end, we can see what a big difference it makes for the Kingdom of God living up to the calling that God has given each of us. God will bring His Word to pass no matter what. For those that don’t fulfill their calling, someone else will step up and do what God wants done. Isaiah 55:11 God’s Word will not return to Him void but will do what He pleases and it shall accomplish the purpose for which He sent it. In the Book of Jasher, chapters 37-40 is another great example of physical wars against Nephilim that the sons of Jacob fought. Simeon, Levi, and Judah were fierce in God! Jumping up enormous megalithic walls and landing on top of them and wiping out hundreds of the Nephilim; the next day they did the same thing with another city of giants - Because they knew that God was on their side, they asked God to strengthen them - and He did - and they knew God was greater than all the demon-gods the Nephilim worshiped, they knew that God had their backs! God the Creator of All! Here’s another interesting tid-bit I share as a detail, because this sort of sorcery is how the enemy operates: Genesis 31:19 where Rachel steals her father’s idols. It never made sense to me until I read about it in Jasher 31. It describes in detail what Rachel did by stealing her father’s idols and why it was so important. The idols were the heads of sacrificed children to demon-gods that had been passed down for generations. There was an entire room dedicated to this. The families father’s, grandfather’s, great-grandfather’s and so on would sacrifice their first born child to these demons. (Clue here: this is why God had the first born in Egypt killed during the time of Moses with Pharaoh, both of men and animals.) The heads were severed and the skulls cleaned, the child’s hair placed back on them, the mouth opened and a coin put on top of their tongue to prop the mouth open and then they would dedicate those skulls to specific demon-gods in order for the demons to use those skulls as a type of portal to speak into this world. They always need an access point. When the demon-skulls were asked a question, those skulls would answer. This is why Rachel stole them. She didn’t want her father to ask these idols where she and Jacob with all their belongings had gone. * 4. You don’t know what don’t know…and it can kill you Many believers know this stuff but unfortunately there are many more in churches who do not. They don’t have a clue. If this has been you I suggest praying the Ephesians 1:17-23 prayer over yourself for God to show you wisdom and revelation knowledge of what He wants you to “see” and then get into Genesis and read chapters 1-3 and 6-11. Do additional research in 1 Enoch, Jasher, and Jubilees - there are online versions of these. Look up scriptures in the Bible that speak of “giants”, “mighty men”, “inhabitants” and “sons of God”, see how many cities had “inhabitants” versus “people”, then ask the Lord what is your place in all of this. We all have one. These chapters in Genesis are the base for everything. They explain how all this started. What has been will be again and there is nothing new under the sun - Ecclesiastes 1:9. Why will this happen? Very simple…God’s judgment on people who have been disobedient and stubborn. He’s done it before and He will do it again. Isaiah 28; Matthew 11:22-24; 2 Peter 2-3; Jude 1:6; Revelation 9:15; Daniel 7:21-25; Zephaniah 1:7-13; Revelation 16:14; Luke 11:31; Hosea 9:7; Ezekiel 30:1-9. * 5. Seed War Genesis chapter 3 is what this entire world is about: a seed war - the seed of the serpent and the seed of the woman (mankind). These are the two types of humanoids on the earth. God’s creation - mankind, made in the image of God, with the animals that He has made - (notice how God is the one who had to bring the animals to Noah and I don’t recall which book it’s in, either Jubilees or Jasher, there was something like only 200 pairs of animal types. That was all. Satan’s creation - hybrids (humanoid-demonic hybrids; alien-demonic hybrids; animal-humanoid hybrids; fish-humanoid hybrids - including mermaids (1 Samuel 5); and many other cross-breeds they have created like the book Dr. Moreau) God wiped out with the flood. These creatures existed before the flood and they have been making creatures after the flood. They are coming back like the days of Noah. This is why God had to wipe out the planet with the flood. The fallen angles as well as the inhabitants have been creating offspring and hybrids since the flood. Both animal and human types. They never stopped. And not every person you meet is truly human. Their numbers have surpassed ours. Read Revelation 6:8 - the wild beasts of the earth. They have been hidden but will be released as part of judgment. Research the battles in the Bible. It will really help!! This is a part of the seed war. Know “who” you are in Christ Jesus. Stay in the Word and in Praise. I will place some additional scriptures at the end for you to research in your own time. There are many more than what I list. Know you are in Him which gives you certain rights and privileges of having Father God on your side when you’re doing things according to His will and don’t have sinful ways in which you knowingly operate in. You will see after reading these scriptures the enemy keeps doing the same routine. The plan, the enemy’s, is always the same BUT Jesus is THE POWER that has already defeated him and has given that power to you!! Use it!! And I would suggest reading some mythology. God considers them a type of earthly history books because these creatures are real. Luke 21:26 men’s hearts will fail them seeing the things coming on the earth. * 6. Power of the enemy Luke 10:17-19 and Genesis 1:26, 28 are key in understanding your Authority over ALL the power of the enemy. This is not only the devil. This includes all his fallen angels, their offspring the nephilim, and all their monstrosities they have created like dogmen, big foot, mothmen, lionmen, and the like. Just like the creatures in mythology - it’s not a myth, but actual creatures. You have God’s Authority over them all in this realm and all of their spells, witchcraft, sorcery, and divination. I also suggest reading Exodus chapters 1-12. The magicians of Egypt had powers. Demonic powers = demonic supernatural powers! But Moses stood up to them in the Lord, the way the Lord told him to confront them. Will you take on that same spiritual fortitude that Moses did with the Lord? God is no respecter of persons. (You may want to read all of the Authority and Warfare articles, and the Crucifixion article, they will help.) In Genesis 1:28 the definitions of the words “subdue” and “dominion”: subdue - assault, bought them into subjection, forced into bondage, forcing, trample, tread under foot, underfoot. Dominion - to tread down, subjugate, to crumble off. THIS IS WHAT GOD WANTS US TO DO UPON THE EARTH BY TAKING AUTHORITY IN HIS NAME OVER THESE EVIL CREATURES, WHAT GOD CALLS “the wicked”. * 7. Enemy’s Tactics The Lord tells us all the enemies tactics in scripture: he kills, steals, destroys, lies, murders. Occurred with Eve in the Garden, Jesus in the wilderness, the mad man of Gadera, and with you. How to defeat him is by using the Word of God, speaking it against him as a shield and sword coming out of our mouths. But if we “don’t see ourselves” truly in Christ and all of the victory that He gave us, we will have trouble when it comes to spiritual warfare. Warfare is getting more intense and it is not going to let up - it will get worse. I’m seeing more demonized people in public. It wasn’t like this just 10 years ago (It’s 2024 at the time of this writing.) “People fainting from fear at the expectation of what they see coming upon the earth, for the powers of heavens shall be shaken” - Luke 21:24 with Revelation 12:7-9 “And there came to be fighting in the heavens: Michael and his messengers fought against the dragon. And the dragon and his messengers fought, 8 but they were not strong enough, nor was a place found for them in the heavens any longer. 9 And the great dragon was thrown out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who leads all the world astray. He was thrown to the earth, and his messengers were thrown out with him.” They are coming. And we can see more and more manifestation now than ever before. People are seeing dogmen (cryptids) and other strange creatures. Revelation 6:7 -“the wild beasts of the earth”. We have to know “who we are in Christ Jesus” for what is coming! These are the Immortals. They will ultimately end up in the Lake of Fire. Some have been walking the earth. Some roam the earth, some were imprisoned by God deep within in the earth and will be freed during judgement as Jude states: verse 6 - “And the messengers (angels) who did not keep their own principality, but left their own dwelling, He has kept in everlasting shackles under darkness for the judgment of the great day.” Along with verse 13 - “wild waves of the sea foaming up their own shame, straying stars for whom blackness of darkness is kept forever.” God uses the term “stars” to refer to angels. The book of Jude is key about speaking of these rebellious angels. There are some as leaders of churches as verse 13 states and some that have been kept in prison by God until they are released upon a rebellious people, verse 6. Look at Revelation 9:14. And in Exodus 10 and 12 also show God using these “wandering stars” for judgment upon people. What God has done before, He will do again…including the days of darkness like Exodus 10. Consider: Joel 2:2,10; 3:15; Isaiah 13:10; 60:1-2; Amos 9:8; 5:8, 18, 20; Ezekiel 32:7-8; Matthew 24:29-30; Luke 21:25-28. And just like in Egypt, God’s people were safe in Goshen but they did not go outside. They stayed covered with the blood of Lamb just as we will have to. The darkness can be felt. It is alive with demonic spirits. I do not know how long this will be. If it’s exactly like Exodus then it will be 3 days. Whatever it is God protects those that trust Him and do what He tells them to do. God gave us all we need in His Word and we need to know His Word and use it. His Word is life. His Word is light. And His Word is revelation on what we need to live this life victoriously. Additional Scriptures: *Read the Word as an instruction Manuel, a fighting plan. Yes, it builds your faith and joy - Praise God!.. and the Lord speaks to you through His Word - He also instructs on how to stay steadfast in Him and fight. Stir up your the anointing of joy with praise; stay in the peace of God - never make a decision unless you have the peace of God in your heart, not your head. And definitely stay in love!! All things when done correctly come from Love. 1 Peter 3-4 Colossians 2:15 Job 1-2 2 Peter 2-3 1 Corinthians 2 Hebrews 1 Philippians 2:9-11 Ephesians 6:10-18 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 Colossians 1:13 Philippians 1:6 1 John (all) John 3, 10, 12, 14-17 Ephesians 1-3 Romans 8 (especially vs. 31, 37-39) Mark 16:17-18 Psalm 91 2 Timothy 1:7; 4:18 Psalm 27:2 Psalm 34 Psalm 121 Psalm 112 Psalm 27

  • Crowns | Kamp Jesus

Rewards, reward, are there rewards in heaven, What are the rewards in heaven, rewards at the judgment seat Crowns Article below. For downloadable PDF click link. PDF Crowns Awards for Running Our Race 1. IMPERISHABLE CROWN 2. CROWN OF REJOICING 3. CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS 4. CROWN OF GLORY 5. CROWN OF LIFE There are five crowns that are seen in scripture that are given for specifics actions. We will get into each one specifically later. These are given at the Bema Seat of Judgment - it’s a judgment of awards after the rapture. God wants to give gifts to His children. Take a look: Revelation 22:12 - “And, behold, I come quickly; and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” 2 Corinthians 5:10 - “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he has done, wither it be good or bad.” 1 Corinthians 3:12-15 - “Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. If any man’s work abide which he has built upon, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.” God is a consuming fire! - Hebrews 12:24 The word is not specific on how this fire works - whether it will come from God Himself, or in the Judgment that is upon the earth. Perhaps it will be both. Whatever the case may be, the work we have done on earth that remains because it is of gold, silver, precious stones will receive a reward. It is the seeds we have sown into people. These last eternally. We need to ask ourselves what kind of seeds are we sowing into others. As Paul says in 2 Corinthians 3 how the people he ministers to in the church at Corinth are the epistle written in his heart and that they are the result of his ministry written with the Spirit of the Living God on human hearts. And such confidence he has through Christ before God. When? At the Judgment Seat - Bema Seat. Here’s another: 1 Thessalonians 2:19-20 - “For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when He comes? Is it not you? 20 Indeed, you are our glory and joy.” Malachi 3:16 - “Then those who feared the Lord talked with each other, and the Lord listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in His presence concerning those who feared the Lord and honored His Name.” There are books for born-again believers that are records of good things of which we are rewarded at the “Bema Seat,” the Greek word used in the New Testament for “judgement.” The Greeks used it when speaking of the games where the athletic contestants would compete for the prize of a crown - a garland of leaves worn upon the head, under carful scrutiny by judges who would make sure rules of the contest were obeyed. They win a prize for following the rules and winning the race. This is what Paul is referring to when he speaks of this Judgment Seat in the Epistles. Salvation is a gift and there are rewards given for walking out this life in faith being moved by the Spirit of God, thus bearing fruit. These are things we get crowns for. And there are five different crowns that are awarded: IMPERISHABLE CROWN CROWN OF REJOICING CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS CROWN OF GLORY CROWN OF LIFE CROWN: Greek word for “crown” is “Stephanos” - comes from the martyr Stephen, who when he was being stoned, he looked up into heaven and saw the glory of God. It means: “a badge of royalty, a prize in the public games or a symbol of honor generally.” IMPERISHABLE CROWN: 1 Corinthians 9:24-25 - NKJV “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate [disciplined] in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown” As 1 Peter 1:4 states, faithful endurance wins a heavenly reward which is “an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you.” CROWN OF REJOICING: 1 Thessalonians 2:19 - NKJV “For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming?” Paul tells us in Philippians 4:4 to “rejoice always in the Lord” for all the bountiful blessings our gracious God has showered upon us. As Christians we have more in this life to rejoice about than anyone else, for the law of the Spirit of Life has made us free, Romans 8:2. Luke tells us there is rejoicing even now in heaven Luke 15:7. The crown of rejoicing will be our reward where “God will wipe away every tear . . . there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away” Revelation 21:4. An eternity of rejoicing! CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS: 2 Timothy 4:8 - “Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.” For all believers who are anxiously waiting for Jesus to return there is a crown for it! CROWN OF GLORY: 1 Peter 5:4 (1-4) - “And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.” This passage of scripture is referring to elders of the church. This would go for any of the brethren who teach and help other brethren. CROWN OF LIFE: Revelation 2:10 - “Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.” This is for all believers who endure testing. All believers go through tests as 1 Corinthians 10:13 says, “No temptation (test, testing, tested) has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when your are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” No matter the test and the end point of it, if we endure to the end of the test we get the crown of life. James tells us that this crown of life is for all those who love God - James 1:12 -“Blessed is the man that endures temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive that crown of life, which the Lord has promised to them that love Him."

  • Can You Lose Your Salvation? | Kamp Jesus

can you lose your salvation, once saved always saved, eternal salvation, life after, life after death Can You Lose Your Salvation? Let's see what the Word of God has to say about it. Article below or click link for PDF. PDF Can You Lose Your Salvation? Let’s see what God has to say about it in His Word. His Word is truth and the only thing that matters. It is HIM speaking TO you. God’s Word is for instruction and correction (2 Tim. 3:16). 1 Peter 1:23 For you have been born again , not of perishable seed, but of imperishable , through the living and enduring word of God. God’s Word is imperishable and that is the Word that we believed. It never goes away. Trust Him . 2 Cor. 5:17-19 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature . Old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, Who has reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and has given to us t he ministry of reconciliation; That God was reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them ; and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation. This is not only for sins of the past. This is of ALL sin. And He is Faithful to do it. Trust God . 1 Peter 2:1-3 Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation , now that you have tasted that the Lord is good . 1 Peter (all of the Epistles) is written to believers. Isaiah 12:2 Surely God is my salvation; I will trust God, and not be afraid . The LORD, the LORD himself, is my strength and my defense; He has become my salvation. Ephesians 1:13 In Whom you also trusted , after that you heard the Word of Truth, the good news of your salvation; in Whom also after you believed were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise . 2 Cor. 1:20-22 For all the promises of God in him are “yes”, and in Him “Amen” (“so be it”), unto the glory of God by us. Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set His seal of ownership on us , and put His Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed unto the Day of Redemption. Did you know that doubting your salvation or believing you can lose your salvation grieves the Holy Spirit? Repent, for the Day of the Lord is at hand. Ephesians 6:17 is taking the helmet of salvation…for what? Like 2 Cor. 10:3-6 says to protect our thoughts from lies against the truth of God. Salvation is eternal . Anything that pops up in our heads or to our heads that says we lose our salvation is a lie. We cast down that lying thought with the Word of God just like Jesus did in the wilderness when He was tempted by the devil. Jesus spoke to those lying thoughts and visions. If you are having a hard time because you still believe that you can lose your salvation then get on your face before our great and holy God and ask Him to reveal it to you. The root of the unbelief is not trusting God and trusting His love. Get quiet before Him so you can hear what He has to say within you. Read John 3 ; Ephesians 1-3 ; Galatians ; 1 Cor. chapters 1-2 ; 5:1-5 and chapter 15 ; 2 Cor. 1 and 5 , and Romans ...even Hebrews chapters 7-9 until you know, that you know that God has said over and over again in His Word that you cannot lose your salvation.

The Lamb’s Book of Life Jesus Went to Hell Who gets raptured? Will there be those who are left behind of the Body of Christ? The Day of the Lord and God’s Wrath are the same “Day” What About the Mark of the Beast Where are we now? Who’s the Restrainer? IV. The Judgment During the Millennium V. Lake of Fire & Various Thoughts VI. Two Other Scriptures to Address *NOTE: Emphasis in scriptures and notes are added. * I. Introduction I bring before you, for consideration, the Second Death and the Great White Throne Judgment has more to it than what we have been taught - seen in Revelation 20 (below). This is after the millennial reign of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Who is Lord and Savior eternally. Jesus Christ is King of kings, and Lord of lords. Look at the evidence in the Word, comparing scripture with scripture and see how they fit together as the Holy Spirit is in you AND leads you. He is wisdom and revelation knowledge. You can trust He will open your eyes. “Doctrinally” this goes against all we have been taught from “man’s wisdom” - but we are looking at what God has said about it. Keep your heart open to what He shows you. It’s wonderful. He is Wonderful! Revelation 20:12-15 “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life; and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them; and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 21:27 - “And nothing impure will ever enter it (heaven), nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.” Revelation 17:8 - “…The inhabitants of the earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the creation of the world will be astonished when they see the beast, because it once was, now is not, and yet will come. Ephesians 1:4-6 - “According as He has chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love: 5 having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, where He has made us accepted in the beloved.” Revelation 3:5 - “The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before My Father and His angels.” Zechariah 9:11 - “For You also by the Blood of Your Testament have sent forth Your prisoners out of the pit.” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 “But as it is written, ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love Him. But God has revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.“ Out of 2 or 3 witnesses let every word be established 2 Corinthians 13:1 * Read the entire article for the fullness to come to light. The Books versus The Lamb’s Book of Life So why are there two sets of books at the Final Judgment of Revelation 20:12-15? There must be a reason. God does not do things haphazardly. If there are two sets, they are needed. First: in the opening scripture, Revelation 20:12 “…the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works…” Keep this in mind as you look at the whole passage, recall this is after the millennium: Revelation 20:12-15 “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life; and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them; and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. Both sets of books are to be opened for the Final Judgment at God’s Throne after the millennial reign: 1.) The Book of Life and 2.) many books that are opened pertaining to the lives of people who were paying the price of their just punishment in hell because of their sins. They had never received Jesus Christ as the sacrifice He paid for their sins - so they had to pay it! And yet some are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life - of which as Revelation 3:5 states, “(He-Jesus) will never blot out their names from the Book of Life.” Revelation 20 clearly states that those who were written in the Lamb’s Book of Life do not stay eternally in hell and the Lake of Fire!! THAT is good news!!!!! Yes, they were knuckle headed and deceived by the enemy to never receive Jesus while they were alive and consequently had to spend some time in hell paying for their sins…but they belong to God! He is THE FATHER and is not going to eternally loose any of His kids!! There is another scripture that goes with Revelation 20, that is: Malachi 3:16-17 - notice these are both end time scriptures: “Then those who feared the Lord talked with each other, and the Lord listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in His presence concerning those who feared the Lord and honored His Name. ‘On the day when I act,’ says the Lord Almighty, ‘they will be My treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares his son who serves him. And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.’” Let’s take a look at this one in Psalm 139:16 “Your eyes saw my unformed substance; all the days ordained for me were written in Your Book before one of them came to be.” Some think when they see these scriptures that we don’t have a choice in our destinies in this world but that’s not God. He always gives people a choice of “how” to live their lives. The Bible is filled with these examples. We live either according to His will or we live according to ours. For example: Israel with Moses in the desert rebelling against God; Sampson with Delilah; David with Bathsheba; the rich young ruler in the Gospels; and many more. Ephesians 4-5 gets into nitty gritty about this. God always gives us a choice - we can do things His way or ours. He wants you to choose Him. We don’t have to, neither do we have to follow His leadings for the things in our lives. It is up to us what we will choose. All of Deuteronomy 30 talks about this - we will only go to verses 14-20 says: “But the Word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart, that you may do it. See, I have set before you this day life and good, and death and evil; for I command you this day to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God shall bless you in the land where you go to possess it. But if your heart turn away, so that you will not hear, but shall be drawn away and worship other gods, and serve them: I declare to you this day that you will certainly perish, and that you shall not prolong your days upon the land, you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess. This day I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both you and your seed may live; that you may love the Lord your God and that you may obey His voice, and that you may cleave unto Him: for He is your life, and the length of your days: that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore unto your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.” We can see from all of the passages noted above, taken all together, that our names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life from the foundation of the world - Revelation 17:8 , Ephesians 1:4-6 ; our names are never blotted out - Revelation 3:5; all of our days are written before they ever came to be - Psalm 139:16; God keeps books written of us and our conversations about God for those who fear and honor Him - Malachi 3:16-17 and He keeps us from the destruction to come; and God still gives us a choice of how to live on this earth - Deuteronomy 30. We don’t have to abide by what He has written about us in His book(s), but it is in our best interest to follow His leading. And there are rewards in heaven for doing so (See article on Crowns); if we don’t we will not receive rewards. If we do we will live a long robust life because we follow Him and choose Him in this world. To love Him. To obey Him. But some will not. And they will have a tough life and wind up in hell until the Second Death and Great White Throne Judgment. For those who receive Jesus before they die the books that list the sins are wiped away and are not remembered as Psalm 103:12 says. Jesus was the sacrifice for our punishment of all sin, past - present - future - there are many, many scriptures that say this, but we will only go to three: 2 Corinthians 5:21 “He who knew no sin became sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” Hebrews 10:10-13 NLV “Our sins are washed way and we are made clean because Christ gave His own body as a gift to God. His did this once for all time. All Jewish religious leaders stand every day killing animals and giving gifts on the altar. They give the same gifts over and over again. These gifts cannot take away sins. But Christ gave Himself once for sins and that is good forever. After that He sat down at the right side of God.” 1 Peter 1:23 “For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring Word of God.” Our records of sin in heaven are expunged by the Blood of Jesus, wiped away, blotted out; and there is no memory of them. As the Lord has said in Psalm 103:12 that He has “removed all our sin from us as far as the east is from the west.” Hebrews 8:12 “For I will forgive their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.” And Isaiah 43:25 “I, even I, am He Who blots out your transgressions, for My own sake, and remembers your sins no more.” Bear in mind, we need to repent! Because sin has consequences if we don’t. Cause and effect. Once true repentance is made, not just saying “sorry” but changing the way we think about the situation and asking for forgiveness, then the sins are washed away. This means the books for the born-again believers are records of good things like God’s purpose for our lives and things of which we are rewarded at the “Bema Seat,” the Greek word used in the New Testament for “judgement.” The Greeks used it when speaking of the athletic games where the contestants would compete for the prize of a crown, under careful scrutiny of judges who would make sure rules of the contest were obeyed. They win a prize for following the rules and winning the race. This is what Paul is referring to when he speaks of this Judgment Seat in the Epistles: 1 Thessalonians 2:19-20 “For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when He comes? Is it not you? Indeed, you are our glory and joy.” 1 Corinthians 3:11-15 ESV “For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw—each one's work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. If anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire. Revelation 22:12 “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done.” Salvation is a gift and there are rewards given for walking out this life in faith being moved by the Spirit of God, thus bearing fruit. These are things we get crowns for. We see this reward all through this Epistles. Check out, 2 Corinthians 5:9-10 (remember the “bad” has already been forgiven and wiped away. This scripture in 2 Corinthians is alluding to the Second Death. God is multidimensional and so is His Word. He often talks of several things in different timelines within the same scripture), Romans 14:10, 1 Corinthians 9:24-27. 2 Corinthians 5:9-10 - “So we make it our goal to please Him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.” Romans 14:10 - “…For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat.” 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 - “24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26 Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. 27 No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.” * III. The Lamb’s Book of Life 1.) God will never blot out their names. This is important - get ready for this, because this is major revelation from the Holy Spirit: everything in the Bible is truly stated and yet, some things stated are not God’s Truth. For example, when the disciples wanted to call down fire from God to take out the Samaritans who wouldn’t receive Jesus, Jesus rebuked them - Luke 9:53-55 . It was truly stated what James and John said but it wasn’t God’s Truth. This happens throughout the Bible. Such passages like this are about names being blotted out are written by Moses and David. These statements were requests from them to God. It doesn’t say God did it. It’s truly stated but it is not God’s truth. (Exodus 32:32-33; Psalm 69:29; Psalm 109:13 .) It contradicts what Revelation 3:5 says that God will not blot out the names. Whenever we get scripture that appear to contradict other scripture, we need to ask the Lord to show us because there is something we are misunderstanding. He will always show you. One place where the Word does discuss God, not man asking, but God blotting out names is of the “wicked” in Psalm 9:5 . (See Ex. 23:1; 7; Genesis 13:13; 18:23; 38:7 .) The wicked are not of God’s seed (Genesis 3:15 ), His children. In Hebrew the word for “wicked” is: “rasha”. It means: “criminal, evil, evil man/men, guilty offender, ungodly, wicked, wicked man/men, wicked one, wicked ones.” Bear in mind that angels are often called “men” predominantly in the Old Testament but also in the New Testament in Hebrews where we can entertain angles in the likeness of men. If you study out who the wicked are in scripture they are satan and his fallen angels, and their offspring or “seed” (Genesis 3:15 - seed of the serpent) of wicked people. These are who God has blotted out of His book. But what is “this” book? Is this the same book as the Book of Life? No. It is of people that are written to live on earth at a point in time, “under heaven” as in Deuteronomy 29:20 states - “The Lord will not be willing to forgive him, but rather the anger of the Lord and His jealousy will smoke against that man, and the curses written in this book (of the Law - Deuteronomy 28 ) will settle upon him, and the Lord will blot out his name from under heaven.” And a similar scripture in Deuteronomy 9:14 - “Let Me alone, that I may destroy them and blot out their name from under heaven. And I will make of you a nation mightier and greater than they.” It’s not directly stated but by the use of grammar and phrasing it is apparent that there is a book of who is alive on earth at points of time. It is the book of who is alive from under heaven. There are so many books written in heaven - this is yet another one. We can also tell there are more than one book because scriptures referring to the Law that God gave Moses. Both of these books are something completely different than the Lamb’s Book of Life. It does not state “the Lamb’s Book of Life”. God is specific. If He meant “the Lamb’s Book of Life” He would have stated it. There is a revelation here too…you may have to read this a couple of times…if the name of the book is “The Book of Life” how could you put names in it that God would blot out. It’s a Book of Life. Not death. Not destruction. It would no longer be a Book of Life because eternal death would have been done to those whose names were blotted out. It’s a contradiction. God doesn’t do contradictions. God’s plan is perfect for saving all of mankind - 2 Peter 3:9 - “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” God doesn’t want any of His children to perish! And as is God’s personality He repeats this statement again - 1 Timothy 2:4, 6 - “Who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 6. Who gave Himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.” Scripture doesn’t say when the “proper time” is but I suspect it’s at the Great White Throne Judgment. This is when we will find friends and loved ones of whom we have prayed for, sometimes for years, that the Lord will pull them out of hell because they paid their own price for sin - and they didn’t have to but they never received Jesus’ sacrifice for them. They could have received Jesus’ sacrifice but didn’t and had to pay the price of sin: death. “The wages of sin is death” - Romans 6:23. God is NOT going to let the devil steal His kids! God is getting the rest of His kids back! 2.) Mankind’s entire existence on earth has been about a “seed war” as L.A. Marzulli calls it - Genesis 3:15. Seed of the serpent versus Seed of the Woman (God’s Seed). Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil - 1 John 3:8 . When we look at scripture of how God works we can “see” more of the “big picture” of what God had planned before the foundation of the world. Because of what the devil did by stealing mankind with Adam and Eve, God’s perfect plan was on “hold” in order for God to get back His “man” and all that had been stolen from Him in creation. He is taking it back! Matthew 27:51-53 NIV “At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many many people.” I’ve never seen a sermon preached on this. I wish someone would. There’s some real nuggets of revelation here. The devil already lost and he never knew it until it was too late for him. As 1 Corinthians 2:8 says “Which none of the princes of this world knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” We don’t know how many were raised from the dead and we don’t know if this was all of God’s seed (not the serpents) at that time who had been raised, globally. I happen to believe it was a global event for those of God’s seed because Jesus preached in hell according to Peter. But we won’t know until we get to heaven. However, it is in God’s personality to get His kids out of danger once they received Jesus when they were in the pit. It’s not like God to make them stay there. God put the devil and his bunch on notice. They lost. Jesus took the keys to death and hell - Revelation 1:18 . It’s Jesus who rules that kingdom. Not the devil or his minions. Jesus is King of kings. Lord of lords. This is massive what happened. I purpose the Second Death and the Great White Throne Judgment is also massive, something we have never “seen” before in Sunday church service. But it is time for things to be unveiled. “…(God does) superabundantly beyond all we could ask or think…” Ephesians 3:20 . This was an epic battle of good and evil, and God won!! Jesus came to destroy all that the devil had done, all that he had stolen from God. God’s man, all of God’s creation from animals, to the planets, to universes. Jesus got it all back!! All!!! We know this…but do we really understand what that means. To us it seems like an “eternity” for which all of this has transpired. Recall a thousand years is as a day with the Lord. It’s only been, approximately, a few days to a couple weeks with God, depending on your view on the age of the earth and the culmination of “time” is at the Second Death and Great White Throne Judgement after the millennium. The new heaven and new earth has no darkness, no night. No “time.” It’s eternity. That’s when all that is God’s is fully returned to Him and all of satan, the beast, false prophet, and critically thinking here, “their seed” because their names are not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life is cast into the lake of fire - Revelation 20:15. Eternally. And God won’t ever let this kind of treason, anarchy, happen again - Ephesians 1:21 - “(Jesus being raised from the dead) Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:” What Jesus Christ did on the Cross is eternal and supersedes anything created before or afterward. God will never have to put up with another revolt again! 1 Corinthians 15:22 - “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.” * Jesus Went to Hell There used to be a “doctrine” that Jesus never went to hell. But that is contrary to scripture. Restating the scripture in 1 Peter 3:18-22 - “18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit. 19 After being made alive, He went and made proclamation to the imprisoned spirits— 20 to those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water, 21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22 Who has gone into heaven and is at God’s right hand—with angels, authorities and powers in submission to Him.” Colossians 2:13-15 "And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, has He quickened together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses; blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross; and having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” Take a look at this scripture in the Passion Translation, “Then Jesus made a public spectacle of all the powers and principalities of darkness, stripping away from them every weapon and all their spiritual authority and power to accuse us. And by the power of the Cross, Jesus led them around as prisoners in a procession of triumph. He was not their prisoner, they were His!” There are scholars notes in the Passion Translation on Colossians 2:15 that says “the Aramaic text has a phrase that is not found in the Greek manuscripts. The Aramaic can be translated “‘having put off His body, He stripped principalities and powers and shamed them openly.’ This implies that between the day of crucifixion and the day of resurrection while in the spirit-realm, Jesus destroyed death, the powers of darkness, and every work of the enemy through the Blood of His Cross. All the enemy’s weapons have been stripped away from him and now the church has authority in Christ to enforce this triumph upon the dethroned rulers of this world.” Ephesians 4:9-10 - “(Now this, “He ascended” —what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth? He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.)” Ezekiel 31:14 - “…For they have all been consigned to death, to the depths of the earth, among the mortals who descend to the Pit.” And Ephesians 4:8 - “Wherefore He said, ‘ When He ascended up on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.’” And check this again with Matthew 27:50-53 - “And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, He gave up His Spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people.” This was after Jesus had preached to them in hell as 1 Peter 3 says. Ecclesiastes 1:9 - “What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.” This will be done again…after the millennium: Second Death and Great White Throne Judgment when God pulls out His own from the pit. * I want to add one more: 1 Corinthians 15 . Verse 14 through 26 “And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. 15. More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that He raised Christ from the dead. But He did not raise Him if in fact the dead are not raised. 16. For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. 17. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. 18. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. 19. If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied. 20. But Christ has indeed been raised form the dead, the first-fruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21. For since death came through one man, the resurrection of the dead comes through one Man. 22. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. 23. But each in turn: Christ, the first-fruits; then, when He comes, those who belong to Him. 24. Then the end will come, when He hands over the kingdom to God the Father after He (Jesus) has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. 25. For He (Jesus) must reign until He (Jesus) has put all His (God and Jesus’) enemies under His (Jesus’) feet. 26.The last enemy to be destroyed is death.” DEATH WILL BE DESTROYED AT THE SECOND DEATH when He puts death and hell into the Lake of Fire. (Re-read Revelation 20:11-15. On first page or your own Bible.) We see the entire chapter of 1 Corinthians 15 is about resurrection from the dead. Going on to a subsequent verse 1 Corinthians 15:57 - says: “But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Including those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life but did not receive Him while on earth. He will snatch out of eternal hell in the Lake of Fire. They are a part of “all” that Jesus Christ has rescued in His death and resurrection and who are raised from the dead - 1 Corinthians 15:22-23 “22For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. 23But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when He comes, those who belong to Him.” Those who are God’s seed, who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life from the foundation of the world. * Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God was without sin, 2 Corinthians 5:21 , that is why the devil couldn’t hold Him in hell. It was illegal. And by Jesus’ death He nailed all accusations against us from the “accuser” (Revelation 12:10 ) on His Cross! And He did this for ALL men. He took our sin for us - Glory to God! So that He would have all men, God’s seed, to be saved and come unto the knowledge of the truth that He has freed us all! (1 Timothy 2:4 ). As 1 Corinthians 2:6-8 says, “Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect (mature): yet not the wisdom of this world, nor the princes of this world, that are coming to nothing: No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” The devil, rulers, principalities, powers, none of them had the legal right hold Jesus, the Son of the Living God, in hell! And by Jesus being our sacrifice He paid the price for us! That’s shoutin’ ground right there!!! Devil couldn’t hold Jesus in hell and the devil can’t hold God’s seed either! Jesus has paid the price! Zechariah 9:11 - “For You also by the Blood of Your Testament have sent forth Your prisoners out of the pit.” 1 Peter 3:18 - “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that He might bring us to God” This IS BIG! How does all this occur? Logistically? Mankind when he is disobedient is giving heed to seducing voices, to the god of this world - 2 Corinthians 4:4 - “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, Who is the image of God.” Every voice we hear and every thought we think is not from God. And those seducing voices blind the eyes and can cause people to go to hell if they refuse God and remain blinded and refuse Jesus Christ as the Son of God and as Lord. But if they are God’s seed and written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, then they are God’s seed…God’s kids…and He ain’t going to loose any of them to the devil. Not going to happen. No parent would allow their child to be stolen and God certainly won’t. The Lord will get them back! Nowhere in scripture does it say that only when a person is alive on earth can they receive Jesus as their Lord and Revelation 20 is clear about that. Can you imagine those who are God’s coming face to face with Him without the devil blinding their eyes!! What a glorious Day that will be! * Who gets raptured? Will there be those who are left behind of the Body of Christ? The word “rapture” comes from the latin translation of the Bible called the Vulgate - the latin word is “rapturo”. The Greek word in the New Testament is is “Harpazo” - #726, to seize, catch up, snatch away (as from danger), obtain by robbery, to seize by force, snatch up, suddenly and decisively - like someone seizing a bounty (spoil, a prize), to take by an open display of force (i.e. not covertly or secretly). (See 2 Corinthians 12:2,4; Revelation 12:5; 1 Thessalonians 4:17; Acts 8:39; and put with the typology Elijah 2 Kings 2 and Enoch before the flood Genesis 5:18-24, Hebrews 11:5, Jude 1:14 .) It is typically translated in English: “catching away”. All will see the rapture happen! Matthew 24:30 and Revelation 1:7: “And then at last, the sign that the Son of Man is coming will appear in the heavens, and there will be deep mourning among all the peoples of the earth. And they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” “Look! He comes with the clouds of heaven. And everyone will see Him— even those who pierced Him. And all the nations of the world will mourn for Him. Yes! Amen!” There was a witness when Elijah was taken and we can only guess there was at least one witness when Enoch was taken because this incident is mentioned in scripture. God is consistent. What He has done before, He will do again and His is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Ecclesiastes 1:9 & Hebrews 13:8 .) * 1 Peter 1:23 “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which lives and abides for ever.” Being born again we have incorruptible seed in us: God and His word. And we are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise Ephesians 1:13 and 2 Corinthians 1:22 . The definition of “seal” means: to make secure, guarantee, assurance. it is like in the Old Testament when a king would seal a document with his signet ring. The document was sealed by the king and it could never be revoked. You being a born again child of God, God has set His signet, His royal seal upon you and it can never be revoked! We are sealed with His Holy Spirit of promise! A father protects His children. And God’s children are His forever because His seed is incorruptible. He will not leave any behind. Symbology of the Holy Spirit is oil: Luke 4:18 , Isaiah 10:27 . We see this all throughout the Old Testament but I will only use one: 1 Samuel 16:13 (1-13 ) “So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him (David) in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon David…” Oil = The Holy Spirit. Keep this in mind. Let’s go to THE scripture that has the most of the Body of Christ thinking there will be left behind brothers and sisters: the parable of the 10 virgins in Matthew 25:7 . Five virgins are without oil. They do not have the Holy Spirit, so they are not actually saved. They are not sealed. As John 3:5 states: “Jesus answered, ‘Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.’” Being born-again you have the Holy Spirit. There is no other way to be born-again. So your “lamp” has oil. The Holy Spirit comes into your spirit and recreates your spirit. You cannot be born again without Him. The 5 who did not have oil play the game of being Christian - they may talk a good talk - but never gave their heart to the Lord for whatever reason. Some because of lack of proper teaching and consequently it breeds ignorance. Some because they thought they wouldn't be able to control their lives. Some out of fear. Let’s take a look at another scripture that confirms this: Isaiah 4:1 - “And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by your name, to take away our reproach.” These do not eat the Bread of Life - feeding on the Word, nor do they wear the Robe of Righteousness - this is what true believers in Jesus have, and yet they want to be called by His Name, Christian. There are many people like this sitting in church with “head knowledge” who haven’t truly given their hearts to Jesus. Including pastors. It’s always a matter of the heart with the Lord. He wants your heart, for you to want Him. Those 5 virgins who did not have oil were “Christians” by mental assent only. They are called by the Name but “feed on their own bread” and “wear their own cloak.” They have no “oil.” They do not have the Holy Spirit, they have not been re-created, they are not in union with Jesus, they do not have God’s incorruptible seed within them. They are not born again. John 3:5-8 “Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.” Titus 3:5-6 “He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,” Now let’s take a look at 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 “May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The One Who calls you is faithful, and He will do it.” God is the One Who keeps us. It is not by our actions. We don’t have the ability. LET ME BE VERY CLEAR: This doesn’t mean you can just live a sinful life - sin has an effect, always. Unrepentant sin will show its outcome in believers lives. Many believers have illness and death in their lives because of unrepentant sin. Some go by way of the grave at an earlier time than God had planned because of unrepented sin. Disregarding the Lord and His Word, and living any way you want will get you in trouble. We are supposed to live right. We are to try to keep it out of our lives as much as possible, the Lord will lead you. Trust Him. But it is God that has saved us. Gave us a new heart. He has adopted us, He is not going to allow anyone to take away His children for eternity. As He said in John 10:28 that no one can take us out of His hand. Once you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior you are in His hand. It is not in God’s character to abort His own kids. He would never do that. And He is keeping us blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. No flesh is justified in His sight Romans 3:19-23 . It is not us. We cannot do it, we are in a sin-fallen body with a soul (mind) that needs to be renewed. It’s impossible. Thats why our “works” are as dirty rags - Isaiah 64:6; Ephesians 2:8-9 . We trust Him for our salvation, not our “doing”; and we trust Him to keep us for our escape in the rapture. He has made us brand new and reconciled us to Himself permanently because of what Jesus did - 2 Corinthians 5:17-19 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation, old things are passed away (the old sin fallen nature of our spirit); behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation; that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” Here’s one more scripture about God preserving us - which states it is all of us - and taking us all for the rapture, (there are more) Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this very thing, that He which has begun a good work in you will perform it until the Day of Jesus Christ.” God is going to Rapture all! Not part. Notice it doesn’t specify a group of people. (Neither do the other rapture type scriptures.) It’s words like “all” and “you”. And He will bring out the good work in you. Simply trust Him to move through you and in you. Rest in Him. Rely on Him. * The Day of the Lord and God’s Wrath are the same “Day” I mention this here because The Day of the Lord and God’s Wrath are the same “Day” as the Rapture. Let’s take a look: Isaiah 2:(6-12 ) but we will look at verses 10-11 and put it with Revelation 6:15-17 & Isaiah 13:9,13 : Isaiah 2:10-11 “Go into the rocks, hide in the ground from the fearful presence of the Lord and the splendor of His majesty! 11 The eyes of the arrogant will be humbled and human pride brought low; the Lord alone will be exalted in that day.” Revelation 6:15-17 “15Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. 16They called to the mountains and the rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17For the great day of His wrath has come, and who can withstand it?” Isaiah 13:9,13 “9See, the day of the Lord is coming—a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger—to make the land desolate”…”13Therefore I will make the heavens tremble; and the earth will shake from its place at the wrath of the Lord Almighty, in the day of His burning anger.” I’m not going to go into comparing all of the scriptures but I will list them at the end of this part for you, should you want to see it for yourself. As you can see in the above comparison they are the same “Day”- The Day of the Lord & The Day of God’s/Lord’s Wrath”. It is the same throughout the other scriptures as well. KEY POINT: The Rapture which is spoken of in the New Testament as Jesus coming as a “thief in the night” is the same as The Day of the Lord, The Day of Wrath. Something to bear in mind scripture was not originally written with chapter and verse, so let’s look at 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 in context with chapter 4:13-18 because they go together; and Matthew 24:42-44 which is coming from verses 20-31 the main rapture passage besides 1 Thessalonians 4. It’s about context. In these passages we see the coming of the Lord (Rapture) Who comes as a thief in the night, and when the Lord comes it is also the Day of the Lord, and the Day of Wrath. Look at how it is described in these passages. Oh, and one more that goes with these: Zephaniah 1 - the entire chapter is about the Day of Wrath and in verses 14-16 “14The great day of the Lord is near; it is near and hastens quickly. The noise of the day of the Lord is bitter; there the mighty men shall cry out. 15That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of devastation and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, 16 a day of trumpet and alarm against the fortified cities, and against the high towers.” As 1 Thessalonians 4 says Jesus comes with a trumpet!! And here in Zephaniah there is also “alarm” because what is the rapture for those who are alive and remain is the same day of destruction for those who are not believers. SCRIPTURES : Isaiah 2; Isaiah 13 and 24:19-23 and 26:16-21; Ezekiel 13:5 ; 30:2-19; Joel 1:15 , 2:1 ,11 ,30-32; 3:14 ; Amos 5:18 -20 ; Obadiah 15; Zephaniah 1; Zechariah 14:1 ; Malachi 4:1,5 and several times in the New Testament like Acts 2:20 ; 1 Corinthians 1:7-9 and 5:5; 2 Corinthians 1:14 ; Philippians 1:6, 9-11; 1 Thessalonians 5:2; 2 Thessalonians 2:2 ; James 5:1-7 with Revelation 6:12-17; 2 Peter 3:10 . It is also alluded to in other passages like: Revelation 16:14 . Others refer to divine judgments that will take place toward the end of the age which The New Testament commonly calls it a “Day of Wrath,” a “Day of Visitation,” and the “Great Day of God Almighty” and “the Day of Christ” and refers to future fulfillment when God’s wrath is poured out on the unbelieving: Isaiah 22; Jeremiah 30:1-17; Joel 1-2; Amos 5; Ezekiel 38–39 (38:18-20 goes with Matthew 24:29-30; Luke 21:24-37; Revelation 6:12-17; Isaiah 24:19-20); Zechariah 14. The Scriptures indicate that “the day of the Lord” will come quickly, like a thief in the night, which Jesus said His return is like a thief in the night: Zephaniah 1:14-15; 1 Thessalonians 5:2; Matthew 24:43. * God will have all men to be saved as 2 Timothy 2:4 says and God is the One who keeps all believers blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, because faithful is He Who calls us Who also will do it, 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 . And there are more passages like this: Philippians 1:6 that we can “be confident that He which began a good work in us”, meaning recreated our spirit when we got born-again, “He will perform it (or continue it) until the day of Jesus Christ.” This is when the Day of the Lord/Rapture/Day of Wrath occur and we get our new bodies as 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 and 1 Corinthians 15:50-53 says! He will perform it until it is fulfilled and we have our new bodies. 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 - “15For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18Therefore comfort one another with these words.” 1 Corinthians 15:50-53 - “50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” Let’s look at more passages: 1 Corinthians 1:5-9 "5 For in Him you have been enriched in every way—with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge— 6 God thus confirming our testimony about Christ among you. 7 Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. 8 He will also keep you firm to the end , so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” Colossians 1:21-22 "21 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. 22 But now He has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in His sight, without blemish and free from accusation— “ 1 Thessalonians 3:13 “May He strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all His holy ones.” Not in any scripture, anywhere, does God say only a portion of those saved will be raptured. It is part of God’s mercy upon all “who are alive and remain”. If God were only to rapture, or let’s say it this way, gives us an escape from what’s coming, it certainly is not in God’s character to only rescue a part of the Body of Christ. Consider what He did with Israel in Egypt. There were millions of them and He saved them all. He will rescue ALL that are alive and remain, as 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 says. God is the One Who keeps us and perfects us until the rapture. All of us. And there are more than two or three scriptures that state this. You can take that to the proverbial bank! * What About the Mark of the Beast Revelation 14:9-10 “A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb.” Revelation 13:8 “All that dwell upon the earth shall worship him (antichrist), whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If any man have an ear, let him hear.” Another translation states it this way: “and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain.” Here is another translation: “Everyone on earth will worship the wild beast - those whose names have not been written from the foundation of the world in the Book of Life of the Lamb who was slain.” That’s another verse to make you shout and praise God! Looking at these two verses together - Revelation 14:9-10 and 13:8 - we see All who take the mark are not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life!! And our names are written in it before the foundation of the world! And God doesn’t blot any names out of the Book of Life. It is a Book of Life…not death. I was taught, as I know many of you were, that our names were written when we accepted Jesus. But that’s not accurate according to the scriptures we have gone over. There are 6 places where the Word states that we are written from the foundation of the world. Out of two or three witnesses let every word be established. This is a doctrine set in place by Jehovah God - God’s Truth. Revelation 17:8 “The beast that you saw was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go in to perdition: and they that dwell on earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.” Only those who are not written in the Book of Life take the mark and worship the beast, the antichrist. Ephesians 1:4-5 “He has chosen us before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy without blame before Him in Love.” 2 Tim 1:9 “Who has saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.” Rom. 8:29-30 “For those God foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those He predestined , He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified.” Romans 8:29-30 TPT “For He knew all about us before we were born and He destined us from the beginning to share the likeness of His Son. This means the Son is the oldest amongst a vast family of brothers and sisters who will become just like Him. 30 Having determined our destiny ahead of time, He called us to Himself and transferred His perfect righteousness to everyone He called. And those who possess His perfect righteousness, He co-glorifies with His Son!” We were planned and called before the foundation of the world! God predestined us to be His. He knew us before we were born and had a plan for us! (Jeremiah 1:5 .) Psalm 139:16 TPT “Your eyes saw my unformed substance ; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them .” If we were planned and predestined, we were written, and we are not here to receive the mark nor worship the beast. We are predestinated to be with our Lord! He will show us and is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us - Ephesians 3:20 . We see in part and know in part now and see through a glass darkly - 1 Corinthians 13:9-12 . We only have an inkling of what wonderful things He has in store for us! God had us in His mind and in His heart before the foundation of the world. We were “chosen” then. What a great love He has for us. Hallelujah! * Where are we now? Who’s the Restrainer? Going to restate some things in this section that have already been discussed for context. Life as it is, in the time of this writing is 2024 and I can say we are in the end times with all that we see in current events taken in line with Matthew 24 , Mark 13 , and Luke 21 , Daniel , Revelation and many others. I won’t go into much about it except two things: technology and end time scriptures being un-sealed. Technology has to be at a certain place in order for things of Revelation 13 to occur, and if we go much further in time and technological development we will surpass what scripture says. End time scripture has opened! You can tell by so much of it making sense now, when it never used to before! Daniel 12:4 “4But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.” Many going here and there and knowledge increasing is this era. Knowledge has become so accessible like never before - at our finger tips. Travel is common place, to far away destinations. Like never before. And the book of Daniel and Revelation have opened up so dramatically and paralleling other Old Testament books like I have never seen in over 45 years of reading the Bible. Things like this never made sense to me before like they do now and many believers I speak with all say the same thing. There has been what I would call a “panic” with most believers at some point to make sure they do not take the mark. Of course. We know what that means, but as we have seen in the previous section that is not possible. For those who are God’s seed, either death will come first or you will avoid taking it by some means. God knows how it will work for each of us. Trust God. He’s got you. I know many think the mark is here. But when you check scripture you can see it’s not. Not yet. And yes, they are working on it. Have been for decades. The antichrist (ac) has to be on the main stage of the political scene with all nations under his control for the mark to be in place. He’s not yet. (2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 and Revelation 13 .) And as previously stated about the mark, none who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life take the mark. The remainder of this section is going to be hard to read for those who have held on to 2 Thessalonians 2 “Restrainer” with Daniel 9:24-27 “doctrine” that the Church is raptured before the ac comes on the scene. Let the Holy Spirit reveal it to you. Let’s take a look at what the scriptures say. Overview Originally the word “restrainer” was used in 2 Thessalonians 2:7. It’s been changed in many translations to “let.” “Restrainer” is one of those enigmatic Greek words that means simply means “something that restrains,” it is stopping something from happening for a particular reason. Uh…okay…this means we need to go into more depth in the Word to see exactly what the Lord means. As mentioned before the devil has been trying to get his antichrist (ac) in the limelight for centuries. The “Restrainer” has been holding him back because of what God has said in His Word. God has a timeline for this to occur. Why? This is my take on it, since God has already created people before the foundation of the world and written them down in His Book of Life, they must be born…or let’s say it this way: conceived in this world first. Each person is designated to be on earth in a specific time period, and no devil is going to push to make it happen outside of God’s timing. What God has said in context with His prophetic scripture is a covenant. It is an oath from God Almighty. In context with 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 the Restrainer is stopping the ac from showing up before the time that God has ordained according to His Word - and according to Daniel 9:27 it is God Himself that has made a covenant with many for the 7 year Tribulation to occur, God has it set in a specific timeline and won’t let the devil “jump the gun” or make it last longer. We have thought that Daniel 9:27 the “he” was the ac. It is not the ac. Let’s look at Daniel 9 in more detail: "2 in the first year of his reign (king Xerxes), I, Daniel, understood from the Scriptures, according to the Word of the Lord given to Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years. 3 So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes. 4 I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed: ‘Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant of love with those who love Him and keep His commandments, 5 we have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws. 6 We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in Your Name to our kings, our princes and our ancestors, and to all the people of the land.’ 7 'Lord, you are righteous, but this day we are covered with shame—the people of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel, both near and far, in all the countries where you have scattered us because of our unfaithfulness to you. 8 We and our kings, our princes and our ancestors are covered with shame, Lord, because we have sinned against You. 9 The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against Him; 10 we have not obeyed the Lord our God or kept the laws He gave us through His servants the prophets. 11 All Israel has transgressed Your law and turned away, refusing to obey You.’ ‘Therefore the curses and sworn judgments written in the Law of Moses, the servant of God, have been poured out on us, because we have sinned against You. 12 You have fulfilled the words spoken against us and against our rulers by bringing on us great disaster. Under the whole heaven nothing has ever been done like what has been done to Jerusalem. 13 Just as it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come on us, yet we have not sought the favor of the Lord our God by turning from our sins and giving attention to Your truth. 14 The Lord did not hesitate to bring the disaster on us, for the Lord our God is righteous in everything He does; yet we have not obeyed Him.’ 15 'Now, Lord our God, who brought Your people out of Egypt with a mighty hand and who made for Yourself a Name that endures to this day, we have sinned, we have done wrong. 16 Lord, in keeping with all Your righteous acts, turn away Your anger and Your wrath from Jerusalem, Your city, Your holy hill. Our sins and the iniquities of our ancestors have made Jerusalem and Your people an object of scorn to all those around us.’ 17 'Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of Your servant. For Your sake, Lord, look with favor on Your desolate sanctuary. 18 Give ear, our God, and hear; open Your eyes and see the desolation of the city that bears Your name. We do not make requests of You because we are righteous, but because of Your great mercy. 19 Lord, listen! Lord, forgive! Lord, hear and act! For Your sake, my God, do not delay, because Your city and your people bear Your Name.’” The Seventy “Sevens” "20 While I was speaking and praying, confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel and making my request to the Lord my God for His holy hill— 21 while I was still in prayer, Gabriel, the man I had seen in the earlier vision, came to me in swift flight about the time of the evening sacrifice. 22 He instructed me and said to me, ‘Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and understanding. 23 As soon as you began to pray, a word went out, which I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed. Therefore, consider the word and understand the vision: 24 Seventy ‘sevens’ are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy Place. 25 Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens.’ It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble. 26 After the sixty-two ‘sevens,’ the Anointed One will be put to death and will have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed. 27 He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.’” Notice the flow of what is spoken:iIt is about God and what He has poured out on Israel because of their sin. The “he” that occurs everywhere except the end - the last sentence - of verse 27 throughout the text is God. We will look at it again with text inflections to see better. There is also the part at Gabriel’s opening statement that lays out an outline in verse 24 - this gives an order to more details within the order that is discussed in subsequent verses. We will start at verse 15. We could go from the beginning but you get the point. Emphasis added and I will stop in places with commentary: 15 “'Now, Lord our God , Who brought Your people out of Egypt with a mighty hand and Who made for Yourself a Name that endures to this day, we have sinned, we have done wrong. 16 Lord , in keeping with all Your righteous acts, turn away Your anger and Your wrath from Jerusalem, Your city, Your holy hill. Our sins and the iniquities of our ancestors have made Jerusalem and Your people an object of scorn to all those around us. 17 "Now, our God , hear the prayers and petitions of Your servant. For Your sake, Lord , Look with favor on your desolate sanctuary. 18 Give ear, our God, and Hear; open Your eyes and See the desolation of the city that bears Your Name. We do not make requests of You because we are righteous, but because of Your great mercy. 19 Lord , listen! Lord , forgive! Lord , hear and act! For Your sake, my God, do not delay, because Your city and Your people bear Your Name.’” The Seventy “Sevens” 20 "While I was speaking and praying, confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel and making my request to the Lord my God for His holy hill — 21 while I was still in prayer, Gabriel, the man I had seen in the earlier vision, came to me in swift flight about the time of the evening sacrifice. 22 He instructed me and said to me , “Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and understanding. [Regarding what you have asked for from God.] 23 As soon as you began to pray, a word went out, which I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed. Therefore, consider the word and understand the vision: [Verse 24 which we are about to get to is the outline of what Daniel is told and the main themes are numbered. We will get to that in the next paragraph. Verses 25-27 are further details of each numbered item and the events described within each numbered part overlap from one number to the next. #1 was the primary question Daniel raised about how long Israel would remain in captivity under Babylon. #2 is from God’s perspective of His doing away with sin and atoning for wickedness. #3 is also from God’s perspective how God will bring everlasting righteousness because man cannot do it on his own. #4 is what God will do with…get this…THE vision and prophecy that He has given to Daniel - Daniel’s visions that God gave him are ONE vision and prophecy in chapters 2, 7-12. Just like chapter 9 there is further explanation of what verse 24 lays out will happen. This is how God does things all through the Bible, especially in Revelation. Revelation is not linear in happenings. Many chapters are further explanation of other chapters. They overlap. So does Daniel’s visions - they overlap, they are further detail of what he first got in Chapter 2 and chapter 7. And technically what he got in chapter 2 came through someone else - Nebuchadnezzar. Have you ever had the Holy Spirit give you further revelation upon a word that He revealed to someone else? Sure you have. God does that. And God was letting Daniel know that He would seal what He gave Daniel until the time of the end - Daniel 12 . No one will understand it until God opens it. #5 the final part of God’s design of Anointing His Most Holy Place, the New Jerusalem, of which Daniel didn’t realize this was one of the answers he asked for, the rebuilding of Jerusalem - the final one, from God’s perspective. When we ask God questions, most commonly we don’t realize “what” we are asking. And He will answer from His perspective. This is why the Lord said in Isaiah 55:8-9 that His thoughts are not our thoughts and His ways are higher than man’s ways.] Verse 24 here’s the “overview” of what is spoken in subsequent verses that give more detail. 24 - #1 - Seventy ‘sevens’ are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, #2 to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, #3 to bring in everlasting righteousness, #4 to seal up vision and prophecy #5 and to anoint the Most Holy Place. Further Explanation of verse 24 : we see 70 sevens of years (490) was the time allotted for Israel to pay for their transgression by the rule of Babylon, of which Daniel was praying about and repenting of the nation of Israel’s sin. Putting and end to sin and atone for wickedness permanently could only be done by Jesus and the cross. His resurrection is what brought everlasting righteousness, it could come no other way - 1 Corinthians 5:21 - “you are the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus.” Upon His resurrection He brought in EVERLASTING RIGHTEOUSNESS. Righteousness was not here before His resurrection. Sealing up Daniel’s vision and end time prophecy has been done from the time of Daniel through to the end times. Anointing the most holy place, the New Jerusalem, is what will happen after the millennium. There is a wide timeline of what the Lord was showing Daniel, from his time through to the next dimension on the recreated earth with the New Jerusalem - Revelation 21:1-2 . [Numbered sections in verses 25-27 go into the sections listed in verse 24 - they are further explanations of sections in verse 24, they overlap.] 25 "Know and understand this: #1 From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the Ruler, comes there will be seven ‘sevens’, and sixty-two ‘sevens’” - In this verse there is more detail of #1 that leads into #2 giving a timeline - 490 years plus 434 years until Jesus came from the time of Daniel. #2. There are 70 sevens and another 62 sevens until Jesus comes to put an end to sin and wickedness. The Temple was rebuilt during the time of Nehemiah when the Temple was first rebuilt, after the time of Babylon, under Persia when they defeated Babylon. [Babylon took over Israel in 605 BC. Which makes it 320 AD according to this verse of scripture for when Jesus was around and we know that wasn’t the case. Hear me out - in Church history the most important political ruler was Constantine. 320 AD was the year he was born. His rulership made Christianity acceptable in the world. More than that, they stoped killing and torturing Christians. Something else to figure is the Essene calendar. The way the Essenes figured the timeline was according to scripture, it is God’s calendar not the Gregorian calendar. And there is always an overlap between the two. Each era or what are called “days” - there are 7 and we are currently at the end of the 6th era or day which ends in 2025 - overlaps on the Gregorian calendar. All of them overlap on the Gregorian calendar. [https://www.fivedoves.com/letters/mar2024/luisv310-2.htm ]. So from the Prevoius era “The age of Torah” over laps into the “Age of Grace”. It only does the first portion of that “day”. About 1/3. This is the same as an over lap to what they consider the “Church Age- the Age of Grace”. So what am I saying? It is both. It is the coming of Jesus to take away the sins of the world and bring righteousness and Constantine was a political leader who made Christianity the religion of an empire. It had never happened before. All done by the hand of God.] More detail in verse 25 : #2 25 until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens.’ It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble . - These are overlapping the rebuilding of the Temple and Jesus onto the earth under the occupation of Rome - times of trouble with what it was to be like to the time of His death on the cross. During the time of the rebuilt Temple would be a time of trouble - it wasn’t going to be easy for Israel for well-over millennia. We know what happened, after Babylon was the Persians with king Cyrus, Greeks with Alexander the Great, and then the Romans with the various Caesars, and subsequent to that the great dispersion after the Resurrection of Jesus that lasted until 1948 - all overtook Israel. Israel certainly had times of trouble even though the Temple had been rebuilt from what Daniel had asked. Explanation of verse 26 : 26”After the sixty-two ‘sevens,’ the Anointed One will be put to death and will have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed.” Let’s look at this verse in Hebrew: 26 After the weeks, 60 and 2, Messiah shall be cut off but not for Himself, and the city and the sanctuary shall destroy the people, of the prince (ruler) who is to come, and the end of it shall be with a flood and till the end of the war are determined desolations.” We see Messiah’s death on the cross which is not for Himself, He died for the sins of the whole world. When Rome takes over, at this time under emperor Nero, is the one who destroyed the second Temple. This is all part of #1 for Israel being under the punishment of God. Again, it’s more detail. There is also added the time of the end like Revelation 12:16 where Jerusalem is destroyed by a flood. As verse 26 says, the end comes with a flood. There are scholarly debates as to whether this is literal or figurative. I’m not going to say one way or the other. It could be both knowing how God uses language. There are often 2 meanings at the very least. Explanation of verse 27 : 27 "He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.” Now here is part with the “he” or “He” to consider. Let me ask you a question: Did God speak of the antichrist at all in this chapter so far? No. So let’s take a look at it from God’s perspective since He is answering Daniel from His perspective. 27. “He - God - will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven’ “- God is making a promise to those who believe in Jesus, His death, burial, and resurrection, for a limited time: 7 years. And it’s a promise! A covenant! And He has made the covenant, His promise with many…not just Jews but to all who receive Him. God will not allow the devil to run rampant for longer than that. He is putting a parameter on the devil. Why is God even having to do any of this, you might ask? Because people have become so stubborn, hardhearted and deny God. All of God’s punishment no matter when He has done it - Noah’s Flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, (the original) Babylon, Tyre, Ai, Nineveh, Jericho - come from lack of repentance and coming back to Him. It’s all over Genesis, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and many more. It is what the entire Bible is about - those who stay with Him and those who do not. God has to allow the punishment to try to turn people back to Him. It is what the entire book of Revelation is about. Look at Revelation 16:11 - “they cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done. ” But God will only allow so much time for this because of those who believe in Him - Mark 13:20 - “If the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would survive. But for the sake of the elect, whom He has chosen, He has shortened them. ” Who God has chosen are those in the Lamb’s Book of Life. God’s seed. Those who are alive and remain and are His seed, the days will be shortened because of them! In the next part of this verse “‘He ’ will put an end to sacrifice and offering - what has this whole chapter spoken about? - the sacrifice and offering of Jesus for all of mankind to put an end to sin and wickedness. This is where we get back to what “He” means, right here in this part of verse 27. Let’s look at this with 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 and Isaiah 66:9 . First Isaiah 66:9 “Do I bring to the moment of birth and not give delivery?” says the LORD. “Do I close up the womb when I bring to delivery?” says your God.” As you know it is God that gives children and it is God that closes the womb. He allows or does not allow on the earth. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 “1Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to Him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, 2not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. 3Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God. [This is the same as the ‘abomination of desolation’ from Daniel 9 and Luke 21. The ac will desecrate Christian churches and houses of worship. We have seen this occur recently when Jihad occurs and Christians are tortured, burned, beheaded, and their churches are set on fire or converted to mosques. I’m not saying the ac is muslim…but he very well could be. From what is written by Daniel especially in chapter 7 and 11 it could very well be. We shall see how this plays out.] This also goes with the “Restrainer” being removed…it’s half-way through the 7 years to allow the ac to have authority over the believers - Revelation 13:7 “it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them:” and Revelation 12:17 which is after the “woman” or those who believe in Jesus go into hiding - verse 17 says, “And the dragon was angry with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” God has to allow the devil to do this because believers who know their place in Christ and the Authority He gave won’t put up with it, unless they have been told by God that they will be a martyr. And let’s face it, most Christians today have no idea about their Authority in Jesus Christ. Once the Lord removes His hand from the devil and allows him to run wild, many of the Christians left won’t have a Spiritual leg to stand on. 2 Thessalonians 2:2-12 (continued) “5Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? 6And now you know what is holding him back , so that he may be revealed at the proper time . [“Something” or better to say Someone is holding him - the ac - back for the proper time!!! Not in the devil’s own time, but rather in God’s own time! Which is only for 7 years. The devil thinks he can run the entire show on this planet for eternity. Not going to happen. God is in charge. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof!] 7For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work [because of sin in the earth and those who have not received Jesus] ; but the one [One] who [Who] now holds it back will continue to do so till he [He] is taken out of the way. [Remember this is why has the sacrifice that Jesus paid have to be removed or “taken out of the way” which is the other way to say it: BECAUSE God gives satan authority OVER ALL mankind for a period of time - the last 3.5 years. This is seen in Daniel 7:25; 9:27 and Revelation 13:5 - Daniel 7:25 - “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time:” Daniel 9:27 - “He (God) will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ He (God) will put an end to sacrifice and offering.” Revelation 13:5-8 - “5The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months. 6It opened its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander His Name and His dwelling place and those who live in heaven. 7It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. 8All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.” We see that God’s holy people have to undergo the ac having authority over them. With Jesus having done His sacrifice we have Authority over the devil - Luke 10:17-19 & Mark 16:17-18 but this time period is different. God is allowing the devil to have authority over His people, those who are His holy people. It is not just Jews. No where does it say that it is only the Jews. It says: His people . There is no difference between Jew or Gentile, male or female, we are all one in God - Galatians 3:28 . God is allowing the devil to have dominion so “Something” needs to be removed to allow the devil to have authority. God is removing His Atoning Sacrifice of sin and wickedness for a short period of time which is what gives believers Authority in order to let the devil free to torment those who are hard hearted, which is the punishment on people who have refused Jesus. Like Sodom and Gomorrah. Believers who are left are able to handle what’s coming. No different than the disciples who all but one was tortured to death. But they knew what was coming. The Lord revealed it to them. He was with them every step of the way. That’s heavy! But God!!! You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!] 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 “8And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of His mouth and destroy by the splendor of His coming. 9The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, [Just like Revelation 13.] 10and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.” - This is an apparent and simple explanation of why God is allowing this. This next statement will be difficult who are still adamant about certain “doctrinal paradigms” but let go of preconceived paradigms of men and allow the Holy Spirit to show you. Notice all of the rapture scriptures - none state that there are 2 comings of Jesus. When Jesus comes in all of them it is at one time - at the end. Read the scriptures above again, notice that believers will be persecuted by the ac. The rapture is not pre-trib. I know some may say mid-trib but by 2 Thessalonians 2 we see it is at the end and this matches with Matthew 24:27-31; Isaiah 26:16-21. It is not at the mid-point either. Matthew 24:27-31 “27For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather. 29“Immediately after the distress of those days “ ‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’ 30“Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. 31And He will send His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.” Isaiah 26:16-21 “16Lord, they came to you in their distress; when you disciplined them, they could barely whisper a prayer. 17As a pregnant woman about to give birth writhes and cries out in her pain, so were we in your presence, Lord. 18We were with child, we writhed in labor, but we gave birth to wind. We have not brought salvation to the earth, and the people of the world have not come to life. 19But your dead will live , Lord; their bodies will rise —let those who dwell in the dust wake up and shout for joy —your dew is like the dew of the morning; the earth will give birth to her dead. 20Go, My people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until His wrath has passed by. 21See, the Lord is coming out of His dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The earth will disclose the blood shed on it; the earth will conceal its slain no longer.” [Put that last sentence with Genesis 4:10 “The Lord said, “What have you done? Listen! Your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground.”] * God is just in all that He does. It’s all in God’s timing and His timing is always right, no matter what we perceive. The devil has been attempting to get an ac started for centuries: Nero, Napoleon, Hitler etc. But the “Restrainer” has to be removed before the ac can show up. And who…or Who is in charge of everything? God, the creator of all things. Many Bible scholars believe the Restrainer is the Holy Spirit. That’s understandable but according to scripture there is more depth to the meaning. Since there is persecution of the saints it doesn’t make sense for the Holy Spirit to be removed. It is the Holy Spirit who recreates our spirit when we get born again. If He is removed than He, the Holy Spirit would be removed. If He is removed than He, the Holy Spirit being removed would of course mean all Christian’s. He can’t be because we are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise and yet there are believers who are persecuted by the ac. That’s a contradiction. The Restrainer cannot be the Holy Spirit - it goes against other scriptures in the Epistles like 2 Corinthians 1:21-22 “God makes us and you stand firm in Christ. 22He Anointed us, set His seal of ownership on us, and put His Spirit in our heart as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.” And Ephesians 1:13-14 “13And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of His glory.” We must always go to the Word to define itself. Reasoning for this “doctrine”? This “doctrine” is that the restrainer is to be removed is the Holy Spirit and the Church to be removed - 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 is assumed that is the Holy Spirit and includes the Church because He is in each of us. Looking at it from that point of view we won’t see the antichrist because we will be taken out of the way. And yet, he persecutes those who believe in Jesus. It’s a contradiction. It is put in an incorrect context with Daniel 7:25; 9:24-27; Revelation 12:17 & 13:7,10. We will only look at the first scripture: Daniel 7:25 “he will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time.” God is the One Who made the covenant with all those who are alive on earth at this time, that there will only be a 7 year period. It will be a tough period for Jerusalem because there will be a major flood and wars. And these things also go on across the globe. But here is a key point. It is divided into halves. Two 3.5 year parts. Where else do we see that number with the Tribulation? Revelation 11:1-3 - “1 I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, with its worshipers. 2 But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months. 3 And I will appoint my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.” Revelation 12:14-17 - “14 The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach. 15 Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. 16 But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. 17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.” Revelation 13:5-8,10 - “5 The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months. 6 It opened its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander His Name and His dwelling place and those who live in heaven. 7 It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. 8 All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world. 10 'If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity they will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword they will be killed.’ This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people.” Daniel 9:27 27He [God] will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he [He] will put an end to sacrifice and offering [because He is removing His restraint from the devil so the ac can show up and this whole thing will be done soon.] And at the temple he [this is finally the ac] will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed [by God and the entirety of Revelation is poured out on him and those who refuse God] is poured out on him.” [the ac who is possessed by the devil per Revelation 13 and 9 - he comes out of the abyss at the half way point, 3.5 years, and then goes to persecute the remaining believers.] Daniel 12:1-2, 5-7, 11 1“At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered. 2Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. 5Then I, Daniel, looked, and there before me stood two others, one on this bank of the river and one on the opposite bank. 6One of them said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, “How long will it be before these astonishing things are fulfilled?” 7The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by Him who lives forever, saying, “It will be for a time, times and half a time. When the power of the holy people has been finally broken, all these things will be completed. 11“From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. [or 3.5 years] 12Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.” God’s people are delivered into the ac’s hands - meaning the ac has authority because God is no longer restraining him. And with all of the disasters coming many will go by way of the grave. Plus there’s two types of saints at that time: those who will be martyrs and those who will be isolated and trying to survive - both are called “Tribulation Saints.” I think there is another part but I won't get into it much and that is those who are hidden from the a.c. (Revelation 12:14 ) for 3 and a half years - there is a link between the "Mount Zion" in the Old Testament and the refuge of Revelation 12:14. I know this isn’t easy to read but it is what scripture states. Pray. Talk with the Lord and see what He wants you to do. SUMMATION : Okay…this is not easy…and you are seeing how all this fits together: Those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life do not take the mark. The serpent does war with the saints and will overcome them. This will occur for 42 months - 3.5 years. It’s commonly thought this is not until the the last 3.5 years when he is released from the Abyss according to Revelation 11:2,7 but it actually doesn’t says that. It says “the beast that comes out of the pit,” it doesn’t say when. God’s people need to have patient endurance and faithfulness through this. Many will die - 1 Thessalonians 4:17 “…those who are alive and remain.” The Remnant of Israel (there’s neither Jew nor Greek) will hide in the mountains for 3.5 years. It is debated whether this means true Israel or is this a mixture of Jews and Christians. I’m figuring it is both. The two witnesses are around for 1,260 days which is 3.5 years. The Gentiles trample on the outer court of the temple for 3.5 years. We don’t know exactly but I personally believe this is all the same timeline…the same 3.5 years. 1,260 days is an exact amount. Forty-two months and 3.5 years (time, time, and half-time) are “roughly” 3.5 years which mean for some it can be shorter, for some it may be exact, for some a bit longer. The descriptors in all these various scriptures that state this time line. The point I find interesting is Daniel 12:11-12 with the different day count: “1,260 days… blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of 1,335 days.” My thoughts are this remaining 75 days are the “Day of Wrath”/“Day of the Lord”. I could be wrong…but that is how I see it for now. It doesn’t say the believers make it to that point which would make sense for the Rapture to have already occurred at the second 1,260 days. The passage simply says “blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of 1,335 days.” I’m not certain on this. I am still in prayer about this. * Here is why I think the above paragraph with 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 - “Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to Him, we ask you, brothers, 2 not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. 5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only He who now restrains it will do so until He is out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of His mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of satan with all power and false signs and wonders, 10 and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, 12 in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” The Day of the Lord cannot happen until the rebellion comes first, from the enemy being fully allowed to do what he does. This makes that “day” at or toward the end of the 3.5 years. Perhaps this leaves the 45 days of wrath to occur. It has been generally thought that the ac would simply be resurrected as a man by satan but scripture explicitly states in Hebrews that men are appointed to die once. When the ac gets the head wound he is “resurrected” by the indwelling of the dragon. Not the spirit man of the ac. There is a set-time that God has ordained for His Day of Wrath to come as the Rapture occurs and His Wrath comes down. ( Joel 2-3; Zephaniah 1 .) As you have heard: “As we go up, it comes down.” It’s a day of Trumpet AND Alarm. Trumpet for last trump (Revelation 8-11 ), the Rapture; and Alarm for those who remain on the earth (Zephaniah 1:16 [14-18]. ) for the final 45 days [1,260 and 1,335 of Daniel 12], especially bearing in mind passages like Isaiah 26:16-21 , if I am interpreting this correctly, this is speculation for now. * IV. The Judgment During the Millennium This is in Revelation 20:4-6 “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the Word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands: and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” The judges during the millennial reign are the martyrs. There is a boldness the Lord has created within them and enabled them to live out this calling. They sustained whatever torture and would not give up on Jesus or give up His Name no matter what. When God gives you a calling, which He gives to every believer, and especially a very difficult calling - He gives you what it takes to carry it out. Rely on Him. Consequently, the Lord has made them judges during the millennium. We know from the previous scriptures that the tribulation saints also would not take the mark or worship the beast because their names, like the martyrs, ARE written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Many of the Tribulation saints will go by way of the grave. Many will make it. Whatever He gives you to do, He gives you His strength to do it. * V. Lake of Fire & Various Thoughts This is food for thought… In no way am I saying this is so. Speculative questions only. As with all things in scripture we have to look at it multidimensionally. God is multidimensional and so is His Word, like when He speaks of two timelines in the same passage of scripture, which He does repeatedly throughout the Word, for example Deuteronomy 29:4 “You shall not muzzle the ox while he’s threshing.” In context with 1 Corinthians 9 Paul refers to this scripture in Deuteronomy, as an example of helping ministers who preach the Gospel. They should not do it at their own expense. There’s at least two layers of meaning to scripture. More substance than what is initially learned from the first layer of the text. God is multidimensional and so is His Word. * Lake of Fire: God is a consuming fire - Hebrews 12:29 Where is this Lake of Fire? It eternally burns. Is this Lake of Fire within Him? I don’t know. Is it in another dimension? Very likely. Matthew 10:28 - "Do not be afraid of those (other humans) who kill the body, but do not have power to destroy the life; rather, fear Him Who has the power to destroy both life and body (their entire existence) in Gehenna (lake of fire)” Gehenna: is a valley to the west and south of the city of Jerusalem used as a place to contain the garbage and filth of the city. Easton’s Bible Dictionary states, “Here the dead bodies of animals and of criminals, and all kinds of filth, were cast and consumed by fire kept always burning. This in the passage of time became the image of the place of everlasting destruction.” Jesus mentions Gehenna at least 11 times in the New Testament, and some of the apostles refer to it as well. The word is mostly rendered “hell,” with Gehenna in the margins or footnotes. But from what we have seen in the previous scriptures “hell” and “lake of fire” are two different places. Greek for Gehenna is “geenna,” or “Gehenna,” defined by Strong’s Concordance as “a valley west and south of Jerusalem, also a symbolic name for the final place of punishment of the ungodly.” Jesus always used physical examples when He told parables to people. Especially when He talked of spiritual things, which was most of the time. Strong’s says it’s the “final place of punishment of the ungodly” which means the lake of fire. The scripture in Matthew is a symbol of how we should operate with Godly fear because He is all powerful. Keep in mind God can never go against His Word. He would be going against Himself. He has said we would not be blotted out and that we were written from the foundation of the world. Always keep in mind if there is scripture that you are puzzled over, know that you don’t have the understanding yet. Just ask the Lord and He will reveal it at the correct time for you. I have asked my questions to the Lord and am sharing my thoughts with you. He will show me when the time is right. We don’t know from scripture where this place is…but it’s not out of reach to think it is within God Himself. He is a consuming fire. He created us all - we came out of His heart, His Spirit. And He has the power to do away with whomever He will do away with and power to have mercy on whomever He will have mercy. But not outside of His Word. He will never and can never go against it. It is who He is. He doesn’t wipe out the unholy trinity: beast, antichrist, false prophet. The fire where He puts them burns for eternity. Perhaps as a reminder for Him? Their sin is not forgotten. Jesus didn’t die for them. He died for us, mankind. We are saved by the love, mercy, and compassion of the Father - John 3:16-17 . 1 Kings 18 - Elijah and the situation on Mount Carmel when the Lord tells him he is not the only prophet left, there are 7,000 remnant left. To get to the point, Elijah goes to king of Israel, Ahab, and his “prophets” of Baal. He tells them to get their sacrifices together for their “god” and do their thing for their sacrifice. Nothing happens. Elijah prepared his sacrifice to the Almighty God. He even covers the wood with water three times. He calls on the Lord to show up and show the “prophets” who is truly God. Verse 38, “The fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench.” KJV says: “Then the fire of the Lord fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.” “Consumed” - Merriam-Webster: to do away with completely; destroy. “Completely” - total; absolute; brought to an end. “Total” - comprising or constituting the whole; entire. God’s fire is consuming. It will eradicate all sin. Exodus 33:18-23 - “Then Moses said, ‘Now show me Your glory.’ And the Lord said, ‘I will cause all My goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim My Name, the Lord, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. But,‘ He said, ‘you cannot see My face, for no one may see Me and live.’ The Lord said, ‘There is a place near Me where you may stand on a rock, when My glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with My hand until I have passed by. Then I will remove My hand you will see My back; but My face must not be seen.’” Our God will consume all that are placed in the Lake of Fire. Is this His glory that will consume them? Ezekiel describes Him in His glory as a fire from the loins up and a fire from the loins down. And the Lord says in Revelation 20:10 that the devil, beast, and false prophet will eternally be tormented and burn. Is this in His eternal glory? Perhaps. No evil will be left according to Revelation 21:27 & 22:15 and are not in God’s Realm. It appears from scripture all others besides the unholy trinity: devil, beast, and false prophet, will be consumed. Entirely. From existence. Fallen angels and seed of the serpent. But there seems to be a distinction between the unholy trinity and all others put into the lake of fire. Not sure. Like I said, God doesn’t say specifically. Just pondering. 2 Corinthians 3:17 “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty. With John 4:14 The water He gives those who believe shall be in us and well of water springing up unto eternal life.” There is still a remaining bit of God the Father in those in the lake of fire. Because they are alive. Has to be. Life - Who is God makes one alive in existence. John 1:4 “In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.” Is this to keep the remembrance of the rebellion within God? Job 34:14-15 AMP - “If God should determine to do so, If He should gather to Himself [that is, withdraw from man] His [life-giving] spirit and His breath, All flesh would perish together, And man would return to dust.” Galatians 5:1 “Christ has given us liberty and we are not entangled again with the yoke of bondage…” which means those in hell and in the lake of fire are entangled with the yoke of bondage. And they are bearing deadly fruit, the fruit of death - which is separation from the Father, for the seed they have sown. The devil (meaning his entire kingdom) is right there with them because they have submitted to the devil whether they know it or not. James 4:7 Revelation 1:18 - “I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades. (The realm of the dead.” It’s all God’s!!!! He has all the keys to everything. Colossians 1:13 “For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in Whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” For those who did not receive Jesus, simply reverse those particular scriptures for us that give us victory, and you can see their “state” on this earth, like James 4:7 - they have not submitted unto God, nor have they resisted the devil. Therefore he has not fled from them. Rather they and their lives have the right to be filled with the demonic realm. This is why it is important to pray for the unsaved, that God would manifest Himself to them. And Romans 8:2 The law of sin and death is in operation 100% of the time in the lives of the unsaved because of their actions and choices. It has to. It’s a law. It’s God’s law and will not go against His own law. He has set before us life and death, blessing and cursing - therefore choose life that both you and your offspring may live. (Deuteronomy 30 .) Ephesians 1:18 The hope of His calling - God’s calling is for all men to be saved and come unto the knowledge of the truth - 1 Timothy 2:4. What is it He is hoping for? “Hope” means Godly expectation. He is expecting for all humanity to be saved and death to be put under His feet. All of whom He has written in the Lamb’s Book of Life before the foundation of the world. God’s expectations will be fulfilled. He has said so in His Word, 1 John 2:2 , Hebrews 2:9, 1 Peter 3:18 and 1 Timothy 2:4 . And next verse of Ephesians 1, verse 19 - “and what is His exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe. Which raised Jesus from the dead.” He will raise up those who went to hell, after His resurrection Matthew 27 - in the second death because they are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. What God has done before, He will do again, as Ecclesiastes 1:9 says. Ephesians 1:22-23 - “And has put all things under His feet and gave Him to be the head over all things to the Church which is His Body, the fulness of Him that fills all in all” - His entire Body is all who have been written in the Lamb’s Book of Life and will raise them up and put all of death and hell under their feet. Our feet!!! What an ultimate revelation of the greatness of our King Jesus and Creator of the universe God Almighty!!! That’s BIG!!!! We think of it all being done at the rapture but it can’t be according to His Word. It’s not done yet for Jesus. He doesn’t get His entire Body until the Second Death Judgement has occurred and those who belong to Him have returned. The fulness of His body that fills all in all. Then He is complete!!! He is always perfect but He has been waiting for His completeness. (1 Corinthians 15 .) 1 Corinthians 1:7 …as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed - yes, revealed to people on this earth; yes, at the rapture; AND at the second death to all who were in hell but written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Philippians 1:10 - I am convinced that another layer, a second layer, to “the Day of Christ” is the second death. Here’s why: “Christ” means the Anointed One. It also means the Anointing. The anointing removes burdens and yokes - Isaiah 10:27. The epitome of the Anointing is resurrection from the dead. Let’s look at: Ephesians 1:20 - …which He (The Father) exerted in Christ (The Anointing - the Holy Spirit) when He (The Father) raised Him (Jesus, His son) from the dead. Romans 8:11 - the Spirit of God will give life to your mortal bodies. Hell is death. The Spirit is life. ”Death and Hell are put into the fire.” Colossians 1:12-14 - “and giving joyful thanks to the Father, Who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of His holy people in the kingdom of light. For He has RESCUED us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in Whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Ephesians 2:6 - “We are raised up together in Christ and seated with Him in heavenly places.” Christ had gone into hell after the cross. Colossians 2:14-15. Mediate on that. 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 - “For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him Who died for them and was raised again.” What Jesus did on the cross and going into hell, permanently stamping our sin with His Blood - is eternal. Satan believes he’s got one over on God by stealing some of His kids who were written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, he thinks he has succeeded. Just as he did when he and his cohorts witnessed the death of Jesus on the cross, Psalm 22:12-13,16 and 1 Corinthians 2:8 . But God!! God will retrieve all who are His. The seed of the serpent versus the seed of the woman - Genesis 3:15 . God is taking His seed back from the thief!!! 1 Timothy 2:4 - “He wants all men to be saved and come unto the knowledge of the truth.” 1 Peter 3:18-20 - “For Christ also has once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: But which also He went and preached unto the spirits in prison; to those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah, while the ark was being built.” Matthew 27:51-53 - “At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people.” 2 Peter 3:9 - “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as men count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” Yes, these scriptures are for all mankind who have lived and/or are alive on this earth now; and it also goes to the future of those written in the Lamb’s Book of Life who did not received Him while they were alive. Hallelujah! Above and beyond all we could ask or think! That is our loving God. God is multidimensional and so is His Word. There is no limit to God and there is no limit to His Word. Jesus has the keys to death and hell (Revelation 1:18 ) which means He has dominion there as well. Jesus calls the shots even there. Romans 8:37 Those who are in hell who are His seed will be the ultimate conquerors mentioned in this verse! More than conquerors through His love for them. God so loved the world. And when they are before the Judgement Seat at the Second Death with no devil standing in their way, as the seed of God they will run to Him believing. Phil 4:7 Because those that have not received Jesus in this world and those who have gone to hell, do not have peace. They cannot. God is the God of peace. They have not made Christ Jesus their Lord. His peace transcends all understanding and guards our hearts and minds because we believe Him. There is no peace in hell. Only torment. But those who are the seed of the woman and written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will have the ultimate escape. He always plans for a way of escape as 1 Corinthians 10:13 says “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” When God speaks His Word will come to pass. * VI. Two Other Scriptures to Address Psalm 6:5 “For in death there is no remembrance of You: in the grave who shall give You thanks.” Isaiah 38:18-19 “For the grave cannot praise You, death can not sing your praise; those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your faithfulness. The living, the living - they praise You, as I am doing today; parents tell their children about Your faithfulness.” We see from Psalm and Isaiah that those who are in hell do not know that God has saved them and will ultimately save them. That will be the ultimate shock. They have no memory of Him. What an extraordinary day it will be when they are taken out by the Spirit of God and brought before His Throne at the Second Death and Great White Throne Judgment and find out rather than pain and torment that they will live forever with God in His love and peace for those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life!!! God’s mercy is unfathomable to the natural world’s way of understanding. Ephesians 1:22-23 “And has put all things under His feet and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fulness of Him that fills all in all.” God’s salvation of mankind through His Son Jesus Christ saved all of mankind, which makes us all His Body - the fulness of which fills all in all.” We fill everything, everywhere. Including those who are in hell and don’t know they have been saved. God still sees them as His children, a part of His body. Like the Prodigal Son, the Father never turned His back on His son, including when he was in the mire with pigs eating slop, which is sometimes how hell is described in some translations. Ephesians 2:6 “We are raised up together with Christ and seated with Him in heavenly places.” Jesus was raised from hell. So are those who are His seed and have gone to hell. A whole other layer to this one! And God’s sheep: He separates the sheep from the goats - Matthew 25:31 . I believe another layer to this one is a separation of His seed and the serpent’s seed at the Great White Throne Judgement. * Epilogue All you have to do is ask Jesus into your heart and tell Him you make Him, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Lord of your life. Ask Jesus to wash you clean of all sin. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you. Those who have accepted the Lord Jesus into their heart and made Him Lord ARE justified BY Him the moment you receive Him! It is through receiving Jesus as our Lord and His sacrifice that He has blotted out all our sin - Colossians 2:14; Galatians 1:4; 1 Corinthians 5:7 . We have obeyed His calling which is to “come to Him”- Ephesians 1:18 and Hebrews 3:1 - and receive the free gift of Jesus Christ through His sacrifice on the cross. None of this ever goes away. - His salvation, His justification, His Word, His seed within us is incorruptible, 1 Peter 1:23 . If we could loose our salvation and all Jesus did for us then His death was useless. But He has taken all the bad for us. HOWEVER, simply because we are justified, which also means “made righteous” by Jesus Christ, AND we ARE new creatures and reconciled to God - 2 Corinthians 5:17 doesn’t give us a “free pass” to do any sinful thing we want. The actions we take have an outcome. Sinful actions that are unrepented of eventually cause death - Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” And these can shorten your life on earth - Deuteronomy 30:19 . BUT you are saved. Just like the Apostle Paul who told the Corinthian church to kick out the man who was having sex with his stepmother. This young man was in sin. “A little leaven leavens the whole lump.” Paul told them to kick him out of the church and let satan destroy his flesh so that his spirit may be saved - 1 Corinthians 5. We have eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ no matter what form of sin we allow in our lives - 1 John 5:11 & John 3:15-17 - “eternal” means eternally, forever. And there are over 100 verses about eternal life that we have with Him. Out of two or three witnesses let every Word be established. The fact of allowing sin into someone’s life means there is no revelation about what the Lord has done for you. It doesn’t mean you loose your salvation. There’s simply no revelation. It all depends on what you focus on. Whatever you focus on is what will show up in your life. He paid the price of going to hell so you don’t have to. You don’t loose your salvation. That’s why Jesus paid the price of a brutal, horrific death, and went to hell, so we don’t have to. And He was the first one raised from the dead! Hallelujah! But there is judgment. And we will all go through it. As Peter says, judgment comes first to the house of God. So we keep our hearts right with Him. All we have to do is stay tight with Jesus! We are His sheep and we hear His voice - John 10:27 - and He leads us! John 10:1-5 . *****

I ask You to forgive my sins and cleanse me of all unrighteousness, create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. I plead the blood of Yahshua over my eyes and ears and over the eyes and ears of my family, so we can see and hear truth, and I ask You to shield us from all forms of mind control that can enter the eye gates and ear gates. I declare that we have access to the whole armor of Yahuah according to Ephesians 6; our loins are girt about with truth, and our feet are shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. We have the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of Yahuah. As we commit our works unto You, our thoughts will be established according to Proverbs 16:3. Father, I ask You to apply the blood of Yahshua to any doors that I have open to the enemy that I am unaware of, and I ask You to reveal these doors to me so they can be closed forever. I take the authority that Yahshua gave me over all the power of the enemy according to Luke 10:19. I stand upon Your Word in Matthew 16:19 that I have been given the keys to the Kingdom and what I bind on Earth will be bound in Heaven, and what I loose on Earth will be loosed in Heaven. I take authority over the kingdom of darkness in every plain of existence that has access to me, and I bind the power of the enemy to affect me or my family, and I loose the power of the Kingdom of God to form impenetrable shields in every dimension above, below and all around, in the name of Yahshua. I stand upon the promise in Your Word that says that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, according to Isaiah 54:17. I stand upon the 91st Psalm that no evil shall befall me, neither shall any plague come nigh my dwelling. The 91st Psalm also promises that Your holy angels have been given charge over me and my family to keep us in all our ways. Father, I ask You to send extra angels for reinforcement during times of spiritual warfare, in Yahshua’s name. Father, I ask You to forgive the sins of all of my ancestors (and the ancestors of my children and grandchildren), and I plead the blood of Yahshua over my DNA and the DNA of all of my descendants, which cleanses our bloodlines of all iniquity. I bind the power of any generational or familiar spirits to attach or influence us, and I loose the power of the Kingdom of Yahuah within us and around us as we keep Your commandments. I declare that our family is free to walk in the blessings of Deuteronomy 28. I ask You to forgive the sins of all individuals being used by the enemy to combat our family (and ministry). I ask You to forgive the sins of all of their ancestors, and I plead the blood of Yahshua over their bloodlines all the way to the DNA level, breaking the power of iniquity. I ask You to break all of their occult power to the highest levels, making it impossible for them to be used by the kingdom of darkness to harm anyone. I ask You to save their souls, deliver and heal them. I plead the blood of Yahshua over every action and every word spoken against me and my family, nullifying the demonic power. I command any evil spirits sent on assignment against me and my family to return to the place they were sent from. I bind these spirits from harming those that sent them, but I pray that their defeat in their mission would serve as a testimony of Your greatness and the victory that Yahshua won for believers, in Yahshua’s name. Father, I ask You to remove my DNA and the DNA of my family from any hair, blood or any other contact object in the hands of the enemy and break all conduits to our physical bodies, in Yahshua’s name. Father, I ask You to forgive the sins that have allowed technology to be used as a weapon against Your creation. I ask You to place shields between me and my family and all broadcasts of the enemy through the airways, TVs, computers, phone lines, electric lines and satellites. I stand upon the promises in Your Word that You are our shield. I ask You to purify our air, water and food, in Yahshua’s name. Father, I ask You to forgive the sins done on the roadways, railroad tracks, and waterways. I ask You to forgive the sins of any individuals or groups that have adopted the roadways, and I ask You to break any occult connections that would give power to the kingdom of darkness. Father, I ask You to provide divine protection during any modes of transportation. I ask You to surround our vehicles with Your holy angels to insure safe travel, in Yahshua’s name. Father, lead me in paths of righteousness today and attune my ears to Your voice that I may follow You. I ask You to fill me with a hunger for your Word, that I may know You more. I give You all of my praise, my worship, the honor and the glory, in Yahshua’s name. EVENING PRAYER Father, I declare that You are the Elohim of our evenings as well as our days. I stand upon Psalm 91:5, 6 --Thou shalt not be afraid of the terror by night or the arrow that flieth by day; nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. I plead the blood of Yahshua over my family. I come into agreement with the promises in Your Word that my family is blessed physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I ask You to put impenetrable shields around our property, with armies of Your holy angels standing guard. I ask You to forgive the sins that have been done in the surrounding area, and I command the kingdom of darkness to clear our airways, grounds, and underneath, in Yahshua’s name. Father, I bind any demons from entering our property. I ask You to forgive the sins that have enabled astral travel and I ask You to block that activity. I ask You to place hedges of protection around our family that humans cannot penetrate, either physically or through astral projection. I loose the power of the Kingdom of Yahuah to break the power of satanic surveillance. Father, I ask You to send Your holy angels to roadblock any attacks from the enemy. Father, because of Your faithfulness, we can go to sleep with full assurance that You are watching over us through the night. We ask all of these things in the Mighty Name of Yahshua. PRAYER FOR RELEASE FROM GENERATIONAL CURSES Father, I ask You to forgive all of the sins of our ancestors. I ask You to cover our bloodlines all the way to the DNA level with the blood of Yahshua, and I ask You to send the blood of Yahshua over the spiritual lines connecting us to those that we share DNA with, blocking any familiar spirits coming to us. We declare that Yahshua paid the price for us to be free of every generational curse, and we take our authority over all the power of the enemy according to Luke 10:19 and stand upon Matthew 16:19 that what we bind on Earth will be bound in Heaven and what we loose on Earth will be loosed in Heaven. We bind every familiar spirit and generational spirit that has attached to our family because of the iniquity on our bloodlines, and we command them to leave us, in Yahshua’s name. We loose the power of the Kingdom of Yahuah within us and around us, and we ask for restoration of all that Ha’Satan has stolen through these generational doorways (including our health, resources, joy and peace), in Yahshua’s name. FREEMASONRY I recommend visiting www.isaiah54.org/freemasonry for further prayers specifically designed for Freemasons and their descendants. PRAYER FOR RELEASE FROM SOUL TIES Father, I repent for every ungodly soul tie that I have made through sexual union. I apply the blood of Yahshua to the soul tie that I made with____________. I ask You to sever the cord connecting me to this person with the Sword of the Spirit. I bind any demonic attachments that came to me, and I command them to leave me, in Yahshua’s name. I loose the power of the Kingdom of Yahuah within me and around me to restore what was damaged by this soul tie. I ask You to seal the severed cord with the blood of Yahshua, so it can never be connected again, and I ask You to remove any foreign DNA from my body, in Yahshua’s name. Father, I ask You to deliver every person from any spirits that were transferred to them from me, in Yahshua’s name. PRAYER FOR VICTIMS OF TRAUMA AND FRAGMENTATION Father, I submit myself to You, spirit, soul and body, and I am so grateful for the price that Yahshua paid to make me whole. I ask You to forgive the sins of my abusers, and I ask You to sever all soul ties with them. I command any spirits that passed through the soul ties to leave me, in the name of Yahshua, and I ask You to seal those severed cords with the blood of Yahshua. As an act of my will, I choose to forgive every individual that has harmed me, in Yahshua’s name. I take authority over my mind, and I bind gatekeepers and watchers and break their power over me, in the name of Yahshua. I loose the power of the Kingdom of Yahuah within me and around me, to overtake and override every plot and scheme of the enemy to hold me captive, in Yahshua’s name. Father, I ask You to impart to me the anointing that destroys every yoke of bondage. I thank You for the promise of a sound mind in 2 Timothy 1:7. Father, I ask You to forgive the sins done to me that defiled Your Name, Your Word, and Your House, and I ask You to restore the truth of who You are to every part of my being. Father, I ask You to judge every demonic force that has been a part of my captivity since I was a child and deliver me. I plead the blood of Yahshua over every ritual performed and every oath, vow, contract and covenant made connecting me to the kingdom of darkness, and I ask You to set me free and bring me under the protection of Your Kingdom. Father, when I was a child I was taken against my will, but I now have authority through Yahshua over my tormentors, and I command them to let me go, in Yahshua’s name. According to Psalm 142:7, I pray: Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name. Father, I ask You to make every doorway to blocked memories one-way doors, and I plead the blood of Yahshua into every area of my mind. I ask You to override any mind control programming that has been used as a weapon against me, as I stand upon Your Word in Isaiah 54:17 that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. I ask You to show me anything that I need to see to be free, but I ask that the overwhelming emotions would be buffered, to allow me to come to grips with the truth without further trauma. I place my healing in Your hands, and I place my trust in You. I bind any demons that are a part of my programming, and I loose the Spirit of Truth to counter and eradicate from my mind spirits of doubt and deception, in Yahshua’s name. I ask forgiveness for the sins that caused my mind to fragment, and I command the past to let me go. Because You fill all space and time, I ask You to pour anointing oil on every fragment of my mind at the time that the splitting occurred. I claim the manifested healing and deliverance at this present time, and I declare that I am not a child anymore; I am free to mature to my present age with restored peace and joy. I claim restoration of the years that Ha’Satan has stolen from me. I claim back my health, my resources, and my future, in Yahshua’s name. I declare that I am a child of the King of the Universe, and I choose to follow the One True Elohim and declare that I have been set free from the kingdom of darkness, in Yahshua’s name. I renounce all connections to Satanism, witchcraft, Druidism, and all other factions of the occult. Teach me Your ways so I can walk circumspectly before You each day, in Yahshua’s name. Father, I ask You to forgive every sin done by every fragment of my being, including involvement in the occult. I renounce these powers and bind Ha’Satan’s ability to use me in any way. I loose the sanctifying power of the blood of Yahshua to cover any gifts that You have given me, so I can flow in a pure stream of the Ruach Ha’Kodesh. Father, I repent for any forbidden activities, such as astral projection, and I take authority over my vessel and forbid any demons, humans, or mind control program to cause me to leave my body. I ask You to forgive the sins of every individual that I have been connected to in the occult, and I ask You to sever all connections so that I can never be accessed again, in Yahshua’s name. I ask You to forgive the sins that allowed fragment exchanges between me and any other person, and I bind any demons connected to these exchanges. I ask You to block any humans with pernicious intent from contacting me. I ask You to hide any brain wave identification and block all satanic surveillance, in Yahshua’s name. Father, place hedges of protection around me and surround me with armies of Your holy angels to block all activity directed against me in the spiritual or physical realms, in Yahshua’s name. I take authority over and command every part of my being to stay within my physical body. Father, I place my sleep state in Your hands and trust You to keep me safe. Father, I ask You to reveal any additional information that is essential for my healing, in Yahshua’s name. Let’s Work Together Get in touch so we can start working together. • Meaning of the Word: NOW | Kamp Jesus

Meaning, Now, faith, Scripture, God, Jesus, Faith, Teaching, learning, life Meaning of the Word: NOW Article below or click link for downloadable PDF. PDF NOW: NOW ! NOW ! Somewhere along the line… - we as Christians, have lost the meaning of the word NOW where it pertains to scripture. We have a tendency to read that word in scripture as in the “sweet by and by” not the present. Doing so, we fail to apply it to our life and in our everyday situations, not realizing it’s our state of being. It’s not something to achieve or work for. 2 Corinthians 6:1-2 TPT 1 NOW , since we are God’s coworkers. we beg you not to take God’s marvelous grace for granted, allowing it to have no effect on your lives. 2 For He says, “I listened to you at the time of My favor. And the day when you needed salvation, I came to your aid!” So can’t you see? NOW is the time to respond to His favor! NOW is the day of salvation! Now : In the present time. Under the present circumstances. Existing. In this moment and forever. Salvation: (Sótéria) which means: deliverance, safety, welfare, prosperity, preservation, to save, to rescue. God's rescue which delivers believers out of destruction and into His safety. Read that scripture again applying the definitions of those words as you read: Ex: Right at this moment is the time to respond to His favor. Right at this moment is the day of my of salvation. (my deliverance, my safety, my welfare, my prosperity, my preservation) Let this simmer in your soul until the Holy Spirit gives you the full revelation on how to believe and stand up in it. 1 John 3:2 Beloved, NOW are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. Ephesians 4:23-24 23 NOW it’s time to be made new by every revelation that’s been given to you. 24 And to be transformed as you embrace the glorious Christ-within as your new life and live in union with Him! For God has re-created you all over again in His perfect righteousness, and you NOW belong to Him in the Realm of True Holiness. My brothers and sisters, you in this present time, belong to Jesus in the Realm of His Holiness. You are not on the outside looking in but in the Realm of Holiness learning how to stand up in it. Allow the Holy Spirit to reveal to you how this is so. The Holy Spirit is revelation. You cannot fellowship with Him and not get revelation. Every time you read the Epistles, highlight the scriptures having the word NOW . This is your state of being.

  • You Are Not Your Personality | Kamp Jesus

Identity, In Christ, in Christ Jesus, Who am I in Jesus, Who am I in God, Bible You Are Not Your Personality, You are Who God Says You Are PDF Article below or click link for downloadable PDF. You Are Not Your Personality, You Are Who God Says You Are. What? What do you mean I’m not my personality?? Huh? You’ve been told or you have said it yourself: “That’s your personality. You are who you are.” But what if you aren’t? We’ve been told we have to change our thinking, to “think positively rather than negatively.” Blah, blah, blah. Never were we told how to actually achieve it - no matter the recordings, YouTube videos, documentaries and books on “Self Help”, and seminars…it doesn’t help. In fact it makes things more frustrating. It’s a battle within ourselves as we are getting more frustrated without any true help. There is still a part to our personality that is just “the way it is.” It doesn’t seem like we can change it. “That’s just who I am.” And because we keep thinking the same things and doing the same things because “we can’t change who we are,” we get the same results. But what if this can change? When you find out that a part of the crucifixion of Jesus was to deliver you from your mind, from your personality, it changes everything. Here is the freedom from something we never knew we could be free of. That’s shoutin’ ground right there!! Jesus delivered you from your personality! Jesus sacrificed all areas of Himself for us. (*See Crucifixion article.) We know He died for our sins and most know He died for our sicknesses. But we aren’t taught the fullness of everything He died for including our mental state and our personality. That’s what the Garden of Gethsemane was about. Jesus sacrificed His personality, His thinking mind, His emotions, and His will for the Father’s…and He did so to the point of sweating Blood! If there was anything left out, then His death wasn’t complete for us - wasn’t enough. He needed to sacrifice every part of Himself for every part of us. Oh, and His death is more than enough! Let’s get in to our “personality” since that is what this article is about. Our personality is part of our soul. And our soul is a part of our spirit. It is not our spirit, but a part of it. That’s why God spoke Hebrews 4:12 - For the Word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. If the Word can divide the soul and spirit that means they are together. But they are two different Greek words and are used differently in scripture. Most often when scripture uses the word “heart”, it means “soul”. Jesus paid the price for the human soul. Yes, there is our Godly personality the way God made us and there is also the characteristics of our personality that are developed by the curse of this world, sin. This is what we are free from! We call these “traits”. For example, if someone is habitual in lying, it may be in little things. Their personality developed around this trait. It is not who they are. Same goes with a husband that habitually cheats on his wife. He may think that is just who He is. May in fact think that monogamy is an outdated idea. And his entire personality is built around this behavior. Or someone who constantly second-guesses themself - they never trust themselves to make the right choice and have developed an entire personality around that trait. For another, they are constantly looking for approval, getting accolades, and yet when they get them it never sinks in and they need more. None of these “traits” are who these people really are. These are traits of “fallen man”. And Jesus has paid the price for all of this!! Let’s take a look at a few things more closely and then I’ll get into how to change it. Like everything else with the Lord there is a pattern of how He does things. It is the same here! But because our “personalities” are so close to us, we never thought they could change so we didn’t think to consider that they could. Strong’s Greek for “soul”, #5590 psuché; and #5591 psuchikos: 1. #5590 Psuché - “(a) the vital breath, breath of life, (b) the human soul, (c) the soul as the seat of affections and will, (d) the self, (e) a human person, an individual. psyxḗ (from psyxō, "to breathe, blow" which is the root of the English words "psyche," "psychology") – soul (psyche); a person's distinct identity (unique personhood), i.e. individual personality.” “5590 (psyxē) corresponds exactly to the OT 5315 /phágō ("soul"). The soul is the direct aftermath of God breathing (blowing) His gift of life into a person, making them an ensouled being. Heart (2), heartily (1), life (36), lives (7), mind (1), minds (1), person (1), persons (3), soul (33), souls (14), suspense* (1), thing (1).” * Here are some scriptures on how the Lord sees the soul: Matthew 11:29 - Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, AND you will find rest for your souls. When we are staying tight with the Lord, learning of Him and how to live our lives His way and doing it, we find rest for our souls. We are “submitting” our personalities, our thinking, to His way of thinking and doing. We exchange our way of operating for His. This changes our “personality”. “Lowly in heart” means: describes the person who depends on the Lord rather than self. When we do this our personality changes. The old carnal nature falls away. Matthew 12:18 - Berean Literal Bible - Behold My servant, whom I have chosen, My beloved, in whom My soul has found delight. I will put My Spirit upon Him, and He will proclaim justice to the Gentiles. This scripture in Matthew was first said in Isaiah 42:1 . We see this is God the Father speaking of His Son Jesus. And we see that God the Father has a soul! The Father’s soul delights in what Jesus did! (Interesting this scripture may have been one that “spoke” to the Apostle Paul - Jesus and Gentiles!). Also notice that as Jesus was doing what the Lord wanted, it allowed for His Spirit to be upon Him, and we know He had the Spirit without measure! We too, as we obey the Lord, His yoke is easy, it allows the Holy Spirit to move more within us! 1 Thessalonians 5:23 - May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is one of my favorite scriptures! We see God is the God of peace. That is Who He is! And He is the One Who separates us - “sanctifies” - entirely. Our whole spirit. Our whole soul. Our whole body. And He keeps us - blameless - because of the Blood of Jesus! It is nothing we can do on our own. It’s all Him. There is a little more to this Greek word Psueche: “the soul, a. the seat of the feelings, desires, affections, aversions (our soul, heart, etc. the (human) soul in so far as it is so constituted that by the right use of the aids offered it by God it can attain its highest end and secure eternal blessedness, the soul regarded as a moral being designed for everlasting life.” 3 John 1:2 - Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. We prosper in all things, including in our health - as our soul is prospering in the things of God. If we aren’t active, doing what the Lord leads us to do, we will be struggling with our souls, our personalities, and it will show up in every area of our lives - health, relationships, business. “From psucho ; breath, i.e. (by implication) spirit, abstractly or concretely (the animal sentient principle only; thus distinguished on the one hand from pneuma , which is the rational and immortal soul; and on the other from zoe , which is mere vitality, even of plants: these terms thus exactly correspond respectively to the Hebrew nephesh , ruwach and chay ) -- heart (+ -ily), life, mind, soul, + us, + you.” Psueche and Zóé are the two words used for “soul” and “spirit” showing there is a differnce between the two. Zóé is defined as the “Life of God”. “Life (physical and spiritual). All life (2222 /zōḗ), throughout the universe, is derived – i.e. it always (only) comes from and is sustained by God's self-existent life. The Lord intimately shares His gift of life with people, creating each in His image which gives all the capacity to know His eternal life.” This clearly defines what Hebrews 4:12 is about - For the Word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Soul: Psueche/Pneuma and Spirit: Zóé. 2. #5591 Psuchikos: “natural, of the soul or mind Usage: animal, natural, sensuous. psyxikós (an adjective, derived from 5590 /psyxḗ, "soul, natural identity") – properly, soulish, i.e. what is natural, as it relates to physical (tangible) life alone (i.e. apart from God's inworking of faith). 5591 /psyxikós ("natural") typically describes the natural ("lower") aspect of humanity, i.e. behavior that is "more of earth (carnality) than heaven. 5591 (psyxikós) then sometimes stands in contrast to 4152 /pneumatikós ("spiritual") – the higher, spiritual aspect of humanity that develops through faith (4102 /pístis).” 1 Corinthians 15:44-46, 50 - it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being"; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual…I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. #5591 “is natural, of the soul or mind, natural (5), worldly-minded (1).James 3:15; Jude 19 a. having the nature and characteristics of the ψυχή i. e. of the principle of animal life, which men have in common with the brutes (see ψυχή, 1 a.); (A. V. natural): σῶμα ψυχικόν, 1 Corinthians 15:44 ; substantively, τό ψυχικόν (Winer's Grammar, 592 (551)), 1 Corinthians 15:46 : since both these expressions do not differ in substance or conception from σάρξ καί αἷμα in 1 Corinthians 15:50 , Paul might have also written σαρκικον; but prompted by the phrase ψυχή ζῶσα in 1 Corinthians 15:45 (borrowed from Genesis 2:7 ), he wrote ψυχικόν. b. "governed by the ψυχή i. e. the sensuous nature with its subjection to appetite and passion (as though made up of nothing but ψυχή): ἄνθρωπος (equivalent to σαρκικός (or σάρκινος, which see 3) in ), 1 Corinthians 2:14 ; ψυχικοί, πνεῦμα μή ἔχοντες, Jude 1:19 (A. V. sensual (R. V. with marginal reading 'Or natural, Or animal'); so in the following example); σοφία, a wisdom in harmony with the corrupt desires and affections, and springing from them (see σοφία, a., p. 581b bottom), James 3:15 . (In various other senses in secular authors from Aristotle and Polybius down.) natural, sensual. From psuche ; sensitive, i.e. Animate (in distinction on the one hand from pneumatikos , which is the higher or renovated nature; and on the other from phusikos , which is the lower or bestial nature) -- natural, sensual. see GREEK psuche " We can see soul can often mean the mind, or the beast like nature, or nature of fallen man which is what corrupts our God-given personality. And we are to retrain our minds: Romans 12:2 - Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will. There are two parts to the soul - the God made part; the sin fallen part that creates the bad “traits”. The Lord gave us power over them! If we want breakthroughs we then need to put this into action. It’s the same no matter what you’re doing: retraining your mind; believing for a spouse; believing for your healing; etc. Always ask the Lord for help and direction: Go search all the scripture regarding the area you are dealing with. Write down those scriptures. Rewrite those scriptures with “you” in them, as “confessions” (*See article on Confessions). Speak them over yourself every day until your thinking changes. Keep giving God the praise for who you are as you speak the scriptures over yourself and for the victory He has given you in all things 1 John 4:4; 5:4 ; and Romans 8:31 . In the beginning it will be more than once per day because you have to change your thoughts 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 . Each time an old “personality” thought comes to your mind, talk out loud to yourself, and say: “No, I refuse that thought in the Name of Jesus and I cast it out.” And then replace that thought with the scripture that opposes it. I will finalize this with a few more scriptures that help for more insight to how the Lord sees our souls: Hebrews 13:17 - Obey those who rule over you (pastors etc), and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you. 1 Peter 2:11 - Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul. 1 Peter 2:25 - For “you were like sheep going astray,” but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. James 1:21 - Amplified Bible - So get rid of all uncleanness and all that remains of wickedness, and with a humble spirit receive the Word [of God] which is implanted [actually rooted in your heart], which is able to save your souls. James 5:20 - Berean Literal Bible - let him know that the one having brought back a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death, and will cover over a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 1:9 - for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls. 1 Peter 1:22 - Since you have purified your souls in obeying the Truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart (soul) 1 Peter 4:19 - Berean Standard Bible - So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should entrust their souls to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.

  • El Shaddai | Kamp Jesus

Names of God, El shaddai, What is God like, God, Jesus, Bible, Provider, Provide El Shaddai This is one of GOD'S Seven Covenant Names Article below. For PDF click link. PDF El Shaddai In Hebrew “El Shaddai” means: “The All Sufficient One.” This is one of His Seven Covenant Names. KJV translates it as: “The Almighty” . I write you this morning to encourage you because this has definitely encouraged me. In asking Father God to show me His Personality this morning, He reminded me to meditate on Him as El Shaddai, The God that is More Than Enough!! This is one of His Seven Covenant Names. God keeps His covenants and the Name He uses of Himself show His eternal magnificence. In Hebrew it means “The All Sufficient One”. KJV translates El Shaddai as The Almighty; The One Who is More the enough. O.T. shows Him in this capacity over and over again. Genesis 17:1 KJV - “And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.” “The Lord appeared to Abram, and said, I AM the Almighty God” -GENESIS 17:1 Some scholars say the word "shaddai" is derived from the word "shad" meaning “breast”, giving rise to the names "The Satisfier" and "All Sufficient One". Some say "shad" means "mountain". Either way, He is still the God Who is more than enough! Joshua 10:12-14 KJV 12 Then Joshua spoke to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and He said in the sight of Israel:“Sun, stand still over Gibeon; And Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.” 13 So the sun stood still, And the moon stopped, Till the people had revenge upon their enemies. Is this not written in the Book of Jasher? God stopped the whole universe because Joshua prayed. We see God Almighty do miracle after miracle. In the New Testament, we see Jesus do miracle after miracle. Yet we, The Church, The Body of Christ, The Bride, stagger at this aspect of our Lord. If we Believe God, If we Trust Him, He IS the God Who IS more than enough. He is the All Sufficient One. He is not the God of yesterday, He is the God of Now. He said, “I Am El Shaddai!” “THE ALMIGHTY ONE!” I have been impressed by the Lord to recognize How Big, How Mighty and How Creative He really is. If He does not have what you need He will create it. HE IS THE ULTIMATE CREATOR. The ultimate artist. Just look around you and revel in the beauty He creates everywhere. It’s His answer to my prayer asking to know Him and His personality. And this is only one aspect of Him. I so long to discover more. Psalms 72:17 NKJV His Name shall endure forever; His Name shall continue as long as the sun: and man shall be blessed in Him: All nations shall be blessed in Him. Psalms 148:13 AMP Let them praise and exalt the Name of the Lord, for His Name alone is exalted and supreme! His glory and majesty are above earth and heaven! A name is the thing by which a person or thing is known. God is called by many different Names in the Bible. Each Name reveals aspects of His nature and character. Just think The Almighty is just one aspect of His personality. The Lord God Almighty wants to do so many things for His children and with His children, if we would just let Him. Psalm 91 There are 7 things The Lord wants to do for us. We see that in Psalm 91 : Because he has set his love upon Him therefore will I (1) DELIVER HIM (2) I WILL SET HIM ON HIGH, because he has known My Name. (3) He shall call upon Me and I WILL ANSWER HIM. (4) I WILL BE WITH HIM in trouble; I will deliver him, (5) and HONOR HIM. (6) WITH LONG LIFE WILL I SATISFY HIM and (7) SHOW HIM MY SALVATION. Using our faith and trust in Father God all 7 of these things are forever present in our lives. We just have to receive them. The very Heart of God loves us beyond measure and wants to be with us. It’s time to let Him. The word “shall” in Greek means: “If I don't have it, I will make it” Believers need to see how big and mighty God truly is. He is certainly mightier than anything we will ever face. All it takes is the substance of our faith and trust in Him GOD is THE All Sufficient One for you today!

Get your Bible and read the scriptures from your Bible, take your time. Allow the Holy Spirit to minister to you, to “enlighten your eyes with wisdom and revelation knowledge of God Himself, that you would have further understanding of Him” that you haven’t had before. (Part Ephesians 1:17-18.) He will enlighten your heart with answers to questions you have had, in the beautiful Name of Jesus. We will be going to the first three chapters of Genesis, and specifically Genesis 1:1-3. Put your mindset on eternity from the eyes of God as you read further. Not linearly. “See” how He sees it. Put yourself, imagine yourself, in God’s position creating everything. You don’t have to understand it, the Holy Spirit will reveal it. Depth of the Crucifixion 3. What Happened? 4. Genesis 6, What??? 5. Jesus Christ on the Earth 6. Last Bit: Details on Crucifixions 2. Depth of the Crucifixion Was the crucifixion necessary? Yes. Vital. There’s so much more than what is called the “original sin” that passed from Adam and Eve to all of mankind: the original heavenly rebellion that caused Adam and Eve to sin, Lucifer with his angels. Remember the snake was already in the garden and God had put in the garden the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Evil was not in existence until the heavenly rebellion. This rebellion had already occurred by the time Adam and Eve were created, which is why they were made in the image of God and given dominion. It occurred even before Genesis 1:2 had happened. It is “why” it happened. And we will look at Genesis 1:1-3 (and more) in detail. All of creation had been stolen by Lucifer and his angels - mankind, animals, planets, universe. Everything that was in darkness (still is - like space and the sea, until the new heaven and earth after the millennium). What Jesus did on the cross covered not only mankind but all that had been stolen from God the Father and He took it back from the devil! We will get into all of this! (Colossians 2; 1 Corinthians 2:6-8; Ephesians 1:20-23.) * Before the deception of the snake with Eve, God could walk and talk with Adam in the garden in the cool of the day. When Adam and Eve fell God couldn’t see them. Recall God asked, “Where are you?” (Genesis 3.) The Bible says they hid amongst the trees but there is likely more to it. They were hiding in their sin. Adam and Eve who were one with God and in the same Spiritual dimension had left that dimension with God - the fall. They couldn't see God anymore. They could hear Him walking and hear His voice when He called out, but were ashamed for Him to see them because of sin - disobedience to God. Check out Exodus 33:12-23 when God walked in front of Moses, God said, “you can’t see Me and live.” All of mankind, the earth and the animals too could no longer be in the presence of God because of sin. God sets His foot on the mountains and they tremble and fire comes forth because of the sin that is entrenched within the earth (1 Kings 18:11-18) - the animals, the earth, were under the dominion of man to keep it out of Lucifer’s hands but mankind instead of taking Authority over satan, listened to him and had turned his Authority over to Lucifer and his regime, because of man’s turning away from God. (If you haven’t read recently what is the outcome of different sins in Leviticus, you should. There’s outcome for unknown sin, which is what Eve’s was - she was deceived; and there is outcome for those that are known sins, which is what Adam did - he was there, he knew what was happening and yet he blamed Eve. Check Leviticus chapters: 5-7, 12-15, 17-20.) Remember, Jesus has paid the price for all sin! I will repeat myself because this is important - don’t intellectualize this, allow the Holy Spirit to give you insight into this: God had to do something to rectify the first rebellion because all that the Lord created was tainted by the rebellion of Lucifer and his angels, and now mankind and all the creatures of the earth were under the curse of satan (Genesis 3:14). God had to manifest Himself in the flesh, His Son Jesus Christ, to rectify all of what had been stolen from Him. “The buck” truly stops with God. I repeat: the original fall of Lucifer and his angles occurred before Genesis! It was the original rebellion that has created all atrocities. The angels before the fall, were given “jobs”. These angels were to attend to planet earth and the creatures created on it. It was all in their hands, like policemen who have authority in their city, not somewhere else. The angels have an “overseer-ship” of regions on the earth. And when the original rebellion happened it was in “eternity” - it did not happen in “time”. I will get into this more later. The depth of the first three chapters in Genesis reveals why the crucifixion was necessary. We will look at this in context with other verses in the Bible to see what happened in the “beginning” to make God manifest Himself in the flesh, in Jesus Christ, to die for mankind. In fact, I believe this is why God created man in His image just in case He had to manifest Himself in human form within this realm, in the image of God, to wipe out all that satan had done that was under his overseer-ship. The sacrifice Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, is deeper than we have thought - God is omnipotent and omnipresent, and eternal which makes the price He paid go from this age to the ages to come, all dimensions and timelines, it is everlasting so that this rebellion never happens again. (Ephesians 1:17-23; Colossians 1:21-22.) Yes, it’s that big. Let’s go to the beginning. Genesis 1:1-3 -1. “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. 3. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, ‘Let there be light and there was light.’” In verse two, many translations say: “…darkness was on the surface of the waters.” This may have been the first flood to destroy the earth because of the original rebellion, before Noah! His flood was the second, which geological findings are showing 2 major world wide floods on our planet. Who was here before Adam? All we can do is speculate but there is geological and anthropological evidence of life here on earth before Adam. I will touch on this briefly later. We will look at Genesis 1:1-3 in light of other scriptures: Jeremiah 4:23-28 - “I looked at the earth, and it was formless and empty; and the heavens, and their light was gone. (Which means it was first there.) I looked at the mountains, and they were quaking; all the hills were swaying. I looked, and there were no people; every bird in the sky had flown away. I looked, and the fruitful land was a desert; all its towns lay in ruins before the Lord, before His fierce anger. This is what the Lord says: ‘The whole land will be ruined, though I will not destroy it completely. Therefore the earth will mourn and the heavens above grow dark, because I have spoken and will not relent, I have decided and will not turn back.’” Isaiah 45:18-19 - “For this is what the Lord says—He who created the heavens, He is God; He who fashioned and made the earth, He founded it; He did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited—He says:; ‘I am the Lord, and there is no others. I have not spoke in secret, from somewhere in a land of darkness;” Isaiah 24 - (all of 24 but here we will do verses 19-21) - “The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly (violently shaken). The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and it sways like a hut in the wind; so heavy upon it is the guilt of its rebellion that it falls; and not rise again. In that day the Lord will punish the powers in the heavens above and the kings on the earth below….” (Ephesians 6:12.) 1 Corinthians 14:33 - “God is not the author of confusion, but of peace.” Job 1:6-7, 12 - “all Job has in your power” - shows the authority that had been delegated to Lucifer/Satan. Job 2:1-2 - “On another day the angels came to present themselves before the Lord, and satan also came with them to present himself before Him. 2. And the Lord said to satan, “Where have you come from?” Satan answered the Lord, “from roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.” These two scriptures in Job show where satan is positioned, overseeing the earth. A barren land is always a sign of a curse. Think about the numerous deserts on earth now. There was “something” that occurred in order for it to become barren. We see this is throughout the Old Testament - 2 Kings 2 for example. “Barrenness” is always a curse, whether it is barren land or a barren womb. We see that something happened! In Genesis 1:1 God created it all: the heaven or what we refer to as “sky” - what is above our heads. The word “heaven” in this verse in Hebrew is “haš-šã-ma-yim” - “visible heavens, sky, where stars, etc., are. Heavens + sky = universe, where God shows signs. Before which fowl fly, with waters beneath and above; darkened with clouds, cleared by wind; whence comes rain, and dew, but also destructive fire.” In this verse the use of the Hebrew word “heaven” describes that something big had already taken place. And we are only in the first verse of the Bible! It was “darkened with clouds, cleared by wind…and destructive fire.” With all the previous scriptures we see much more was going on. Let’s put this in context with “Who” God is: John 1:5 - “God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.” Acts 2:2 - “And suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a violent rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.” (Verses 1-4. With Acts 1:4-5, 8.) John 3:8 - “The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” Psalm 92:15 - “Proclaiming, “The Lord is upright; He is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in Him.” Leviticus 11:44 - “…be holy for I am holy.” Deuteronomy 32:4 - “The Rock! His work is perfect, for all His ways are just; a God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He.” Psalm 18:30 - “As for God, His way is blameless; the Word of the Lord is tried; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.” Let’s put this all together: It was “darkened with clouds, cleared by wind…and destructive fire.” The earth was without form. Hebrew: formless, confusion, unreality, emptiness. The earth was void. Darkness was on the face of the deep The Spirit of God moved, one translation says, “brooded” upon the waters. The Spirit is represented as wind at times. Let us put that in mind with Job 34:14-15 - “If it were His intention and He withdrew HIs Spirit and breath, all humanity would perish together and mankind would return to the dust.” So let’s look at another way to phrase it: “The Spirit of God brooded like a chicken over her eggs, caring for them, gently blowing His Breath upon them because He had given His creation life.” God created light in verse 3…why did He create it?…He is light. And in the fourth verse He separated the light from the darkness. Notice God didn’t create the sun until day 4, verses 14-19. God separated light from the darkness on the first day before He created the sun! Something definitely happened before Genesis 1:1-3 to occur because… Scripture says: God is light In Him is no darkness at all The wind is the Spirit of God, He was hovering over the waters, “to grow soft, to relax” over the waters. (If He relaxed He must have been in another state before, speculation here but perhaps angry, because of what Lucifer and his angels had done per Jeremiah 4:23-28 on page 6.) The Lord is upright The Lord is holy There is no wickedness in Him His work is perfect All His ways are just He is a God of faithfulness He is without injustice His way is blameless He is not the author of confusion He formed the earth and fashioned it He established it He did not create it to be empty He formed the earth to be inhabited. What Jesus died for on the cross not only covers the mistakes of mankind, it also covers all that had been stolen from God the Father in the original rebellion. * 3. What happened? When God created everything: Let’s look at Job 38. This is the Lord speaking (in chapters 38-41) and describing when He created the heaven and the earth. In 38:6-8 - “On what were its footing set, or Who laid its cornerstone—while the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy. Who shut up the sea behind doors- when it burst forth from the womb, when I made the clouds its garment and wrapped it in thick darkness,” (Think of Genesis 1:2.) This is all during creation. Notice the morning stars and sons of God were there. Who are the “morning stars”? In Revelation 22:16 Jesus calls Himself “the bright morning star.” Isaiah 14:12 says that satan is also a “morning star.” In Hebrew “morning stars” means: ‘morning prince.’ It doesn’t say that these morning stars were Jesus and Lucifer, just that they are that “kind”. It would be an assumption to think that and could get you off on wrong theology. God also doesn’t say specifically if there are two different types of “angelic” creatures, but it seems that way: morning stars and sons of God. We can see from Genesis 6:1-4 that “sons of God” are, in fact, the angels. The sons of God were there when the morning stars were created, and the sons of God shouted for joy at seeing God in action! That must have been an extraordinary sight!!! And we will see this happen again at the creation of the new heaven and earth! The Aramaic Bible: “He created as one the stars of the morning and all the sons of the Angels shouted for joy.” Good News Translation: “In the dawn of that day the stars sang together, and the heavenly beings shouted for joy.” Brenton Septuagint Translation: “When the stars were made, all My angels praised Me with a loud voice.” Sons of God are angels and they were there at the beginning of Genesis 1 and watched all being created. Let’s go once again to Job 1:6 “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord and satan came also among them. And the Lord said unto satan, ‘Where have you come from?’ satan answered the Lord, ‘From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.’” Seemingly there was a type of “roll call” for the angels to present themselves before God and give reports of their actions over their territory. satan’s territory was the earth. The Book of Enoch discusses the territory and jobs of the fallen ones in more detail. And it goes right in line with Genesis 6. Enoch calls them the Watchers. They are to watch over the earth and mankind. We call it a “calling”. It is what they were created for; to make sure things run smoothly in God’s behalf. But it was the Watchers who did what they did in Genesis 6. Something to bear in mind is Romans 11:29 - “For the gifts and the calling of God are without repentance.” Amplified Translation says: “…He never withdraws them (gifts and callings) once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call.” God’s calling is how He creates His creatures. And He doesn’t withdraw it, even when the creature is in rebellion. Just like the covenant with Abraham. It is eternal and goes on to bless Israel when they are not rebelling; and the Gentiles that come to the Lord through the blessing of Abraham (Galatians 3). It is the same with the angels. They each have a calling and God doesn’t withdraw it once it is given. Including the fallen ones. There’s another element to discuss with satan and the fallen angels and that is the name “satan”. It is not the type of creature. It is a title. It means: accuser. Look at Revelation 12:9-10 - “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the devil, and satan, which deceived the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, ‘Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down which accused them before our God day and night.” The word “devil” means deceiver. “satan” means to accuse, rebuke, an adversary. This is pure speculation but it could fit: In Job he is called “satan” - accuser. And that is exactly what he does to Job. But God had Job protected from satan until he asked. And why did God allow satan to have some rule over Job - there was sin in his life and God couldn’t do anything about it. Job had allowed it. His sin was “fear”. He was in fear for his kids and kept doing sacrifices for them. “The thing I have feared the most has come upon me.” (Job 3:25.) The accuser could very well be Lucifer’s “job description”. Bear with me on this…it doesn’t have to be a negative context per se. It’s like a legal term, “prosecutor”. It doesn't mean a bad thing in its original context. But spirits who left their original God-given position are using it wrongly. Principalities, for example, rule over regions. Overseers. Like a governor of a state. They are supposed to guard and protect. But the fallen ones are now overseers in their God-given positions and instead of oversee and protect they destroy geographical regions. Some are called “rulers of the darkness” because that is how they oversee, no longer part of the light. (Ephesians 6:12.) Add on: the “destroyer” angel known as the “angel of death” mentioned in Exodus 12:23; Hebrews 11:28; then there is the “spirit of error” and “spirit of fear” - 1 John 4:6; 2 Timothy 1:7. There seems to be two parts, one is the original job that God gave them and the other is what they are now since the fall: what was life is now death; truth is now error; faith is now fear. Evil spirits now have different job titles because of how they have perverted their original job. It could be that Lucifer’s job was as an accuser or prosecutor, but now he is doing it in wickedness - to steal, kill, and destroy - John 10:10. Don’t know…purely speculation. There is an excerpt from a Rabbi later in this article that touches on this. Back to Revelation 12:9-10 where it says the “…and his angels were cast out with him.” Look at this from a reference with scripture. Paul in a couple of Epistles uses military terms, especially in describing spiritual warfare. In fact, Job 1 “roll call” looks to me like the “generals” brought in to give reports. I have a hunch the angels that fell with Lucifer were the very ones in his “unit”…so to speak. He was in charge over them, they followed him as their commander. Again, speculation but it certainly looks like it when you look at all scripture together in context. * There’s one more part to put into the proverbial mix on the angels, this is all in Hebrews 1. This is all vital when we are looking at the depth of what Jesus did on the Cross and what it all means. And there’s one thing I want to mention. In verse two: “has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, who He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;” In many other translations it says “universe.” Now I don’t speak Greek, but when you look up the word used here - Aión - it has two possibilities: 1. An age or a cycle of time - the present age as contrasted with the future age; 2. And of one of a series of ages stretching to infinity. For me, this is how I go, I think it’s both. Yes, its of this age we are in - this world; AND it also means a series of worlds! Ones before us, and the one the Lord says will be created after. 4. Genesis 6 - What??? For many this information is not new. But for those who have not seen this before because it is not taught in Sunday services might find all of this shocking and bit overwhelming. It is what is said in scripture and it’s not the full story - the Lord has not told all the details. God must have a reason for that. Everything He does has a purpose! When you look at extra-Biblical texts including historical logs of ancient cities and empires, along with archeological sites you can see there is a bigger picture of what was going on. They weave beautifully together with scripture. We always go to the Bible first. It is God’s spoken Word. And what lines up with scripture is what we look at. And we can see some of these things go in line with it. In this article we will only go into scripture. You can research the others on your own. The internet is a wonderful tool. (Yes, there are some scientists and studies that are false, pushing an agenda of theories which have already been disproven, like evolution. Statistically it has already been disproven - the planet has not been around long enough for the type of evolution they endorse to occur which would take hundreds of billions of years. The earth is older than 6,000 years but it is not as old as evolution theory suggests. And there are no archaeological findings of such evolution of creatures that morph from one kind of creature into another. Like a bird into an antelope for example. We know it’s against scripture - “each kind reproduces after its own kind.”) * Genesis 6:1-4 - “When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, (1) the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. Then the Lord said, (2)“My Spirit will not contend (remain in) with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years. The (3) Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.” Let’s unpack this….. (1) Sons of God: as we looked earlier, these are the angels. The word “angels” is not a species name. It is a job title. It means “messenger.” We have seen this though out scripture where they come to speak with someone; they are also protectors and warriors, here are a few examples: like Abraham in Genesis 18; in Genesis 19 they came to rescue Lot and his family; in Matthew 1:20 one appeared to Joseph to let him know that the baby Mary carried was from God; Daniel (all through this book) angels came to protect Daniel from the lions (6:22), as warriors with Gabriel and Michael in Daniel 10:12-13; 12:1 and Revelation 12:7-10; Daniel 8:16 and chapters 10-12 Gabriel gave understanding to the visions that God was giving Daniel; in Genesis 3:24 we see a mighty Cherubim with a flaming sword to keep the tree of life protected from being found by sin-fallen man…God did not want man - His creation - to live life eternally in a sin fallen state, eternally separate from HIm. That’s insight!!! Thank You Holy Spirit! And if you look once again at the Revelation 12:7-10 the angels are calling us their brethren! This goes with Revelation 19:10 - the angel telling John that he is John’s “fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus.” Angels are a similar creature to God by the Hebrew word that “angel” comes from: Bene Elohim. Elohim means God; Bene means son(s) of God. They are His sons and His servants, Psalm 103:20 - “Bless the Lord, you His angels, mighty in strength, who perform His word, Obeying the voice of His word!” Hebrews 1:14 - “Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?” They are His sons, ministering spirits sent out to render service for us, they help us, watch over us, protect us, fight for us and obey the voice of the Lord. This next part I cannot say for sure but from the the scriptural evidence of what angels are to do and Romans 11:29 mentioned earlier, it is my belief that the fallen ones were still at their posts guarding the earth as the Lord had tasked them to do, even after their rebellion (Book of Enoch chapters 6-8), and these were the ones who decided to reproduce with mankind in Genesis 6:1-4. Why would they do that? Genesis 3:14-15 - “And the Lord God said unto the serpent, ‘Because you have done this, you are cursed above all cattle, and and over every beast of the field; upon your belly shall you go, and dust shall you eat all the days of your life; and I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; he will crush your head and you shall bruise his heel.’” So let’s unpack this one: The “serpent seed” versus the “seed of the woman”. Yes, the seed of the woman does refer to Jesus AND it refers to all of God’s seed, all of God’s created “man”. Not the serpent’s. Yes, he has seed. Again…Genesis 6:1-4. The serpent has been trying to destroy the seed of the woman ever since, trying to stop God’s plan. Why? Satan hates mankind. Look at Psalm 8:4-8. In brief, something the Lord showed me is this scripture shows how satan thinks. That he was jealous of mankind and the Authority that God gave us. Satan attempted to produce more of his seed in Genesis 6 which is why God said “His Spirit will not always dwell in man” - it is another spirit. The spirit of the serpent. All of which is why God had to bring the flood of Noah. Not only to get rid of the offspring of the fallen angels, the Nephilim, but also to destroy all they had destroyed with their DNA even in the animals. The only ones found by God who were not genetically corrupted were Noah and his family who had not been altered by them and the animals that God brought to Noah for the ark. When you look at the Hebrew words about Noah being a “perfect man” it means genetically. Not by his actions. Because he was an offspring of Adam and Eve there was sin nature in him but he was genetically clean…no fallen angel DNA. God did bring some unclean animals for Noah to sacrifice. That always puzzled me until I saw the bigger picture. These animals were corrupted by the fallen ones. Now we get it. It’s blood that cleanses. Leviticus 17:11 & Hebrews 9:22 - “For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes an atonement for the soul.” & “And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.” ALL OF THIS on planet earth, from Genesis 1 is about a seed war! Seed of the serpent versus seed of the woman. The serpent has been trying to corrupt God’s seed, God’s creation by toying with genetic experiments for a very long time…even before Genesis. Satan hates that God created man in His image and wants to destroy mankind and keep mankind away from God. He thinks he has done it if he succeeds in someone not receiving Jesus Christ in this life…but he didn’t - Revelation 20:11-15 - see article on “Second Death and Great White Throne Judgement.” The Lord has said what He has said in His Word. He is not a man that He should lie - Numbers 23:19. God will not loose any of His own seed for eternity. * All creatures, including mankind, were made to be vegetarian: “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be food for you. And to the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground–everything that has the breath of life in it – I give every green plant for food. And it was so.” Genesis 1:29-30. It wasn’t until after the flood that God told Noah and his sons that they could eat meat. (Genesis 9:1-3.) When did animals start eating meat? And why? (Just as an fyi, I love a good steak.) In Isaiah 11:6-9 - “The wolf (lion) will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them. The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. The infant will play near the cobra’s den, and the young child will put its hand into the viper’s nest. They will neither harm nor destroy on all My holy mountain, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” This scripture shows us what God intended, for all animals, just like in Genesis 1:29-30 to eat plants and to be at peace with each other. Yet, this scripture seems to be during the millennial reign or on the new earth. Consider what animals are like now and how many dinosaurs were predators. Eating flesh of animals. Besides the long necked vegetation eaters of the dinosaurs, the T-Rex, raptors and other vicious dinosaurs were on the scene! That is not what God intended. Something happened. The “tearing of flesh” is part of the curse - Deuteronomy 28. I think the evidence is clear from scripture. Lucifer and his fallen ones were messing with the genetics long before Genesis 1, they continued in Genesis 6, and from 6:4 it looks like they will do it again - “There were giants in those days; and after that…” I believe it has already been happening for some time. The curse: we don’t know that the serpent was cursed before Genesis 3 but it is likely he was because of the original rebellion. We know Jesus came to die for humankind, not the angels: Hebrews 2:9-18 Phillips Bible Translation: 9-11 “What we actually see is Jesus, after being made temporarily inferior to the angels (and so subject to pain and death), in order that He should, in God’s grace, taste death for every man, now crowned with glory and honour. It was right and proper that in bringing many sons to glory, God (from Whom and by Whom everything exists) should make the leader of their salvation a perfect leader through the fact that He suffered. For the One who makes men holy and the men who are made holy share a common humanity. So that He is not ashamed to call them His brothers, for He says: ‘ "I will declare Your name to My brethren; in the midst of the congregation I will sing praise to You’. 13 And again, speaking as a man, He says: ‘I will put my trust in Him.’ And, one more instance, in these words: ‘Here am I and the children whom God has given Me.’ 14-18 Since, then, “the children” have a common physical nature as human beings, He also became a human being, so that by going through death as a man He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil; and might also set free those who lived their whole lives a prey to the fear of death. It is plain that for this purpose He did not become an angel; He became a man, in actual fact a descendant of Abraham. It was imperative that He should be made like His brothers in nature, if He were to become a High Priest both compassionate and faithful in the things of God, and at the same time able to make atonement for the sins of the people. For by virtue of His own suffering under temptation He is able to help those who are exposed to temptation.” Jesus came as a man, not an angel. His sacrifice was to pay for all things done wrong by mankind. All. Not angels. I have a theory on this from Genesis 1 - since God separated the light from the darkness on the first day and yet hadn’t created the sun and moon: creating “time” - until day 4, I believe God by creating “time” put a “time limit” on what satan and his angels were doing. A limit on their rebellion. God is the ultimate legalist and judge. He does things right and there had to be a certain procedure for Him to resolve the entire rebellious situation. Literally - THE civil war. And here’s the other part about “time”: when Lucifer and his angels rebelled they did it before “time” was created. They did it in eternity. Their sin is eternal. That’s why Jesus didn’t first manifest for them and stop the entire thing. He couldn’t. They can not be saved. Their sin was in eternity, not time. God put a “time-limit” on sin so He can stop it! “Time” is linear. Not multidimensional. And in the earthly, linear realm He took the very sin-nature of man in “time”, in the heart of man, and put it on Jesus’ own heart at the crucifixion - to give us His eternal righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:17-21). This is big!!! There is no other way God could get His created beings, mankind, back into union with Himself. (2 Corinthians 5.) This is why Gethsemane is SO important. Jesus knew the eternal nature of what was about to go down! He had to get His “earthly” will in line with the Father’s. His very own “humanity” in His linear-earthly flesh did not want to go through the brutal beating and torture, cross, and hell. He knew what was coming. “Nevertheless, not My will, but Yours be done.” (Luke 22:42.) He knew what was at stake if He didn’t. This is an eternity thing. God was the only One who could pay the price to get His creation back…He had to pay the sacrifice. Because without the spilling of blood there is no remission of sin - Hebrews 9:22; and as Leviticus 17:11 says: “For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that makes an atonement for the soul.” Put that with Genesis 4:10 with Cain having killed Abel, the first murder recorded - “And He (God) said, ‘What have you done? The voice of your bother’s blood cries unto Me from the ground.’” BLOOD HAS A VOICE!!!! THE BLOOD SPEAKS!!! THE LIFE IS IN THE BLOOD!!! HE IS THE SPIRIT OF LIFE. Just as Abel’s blood speaks, so does Jesus’ Blood - eternally: Abel’s blood cried out to God for justice. The Blood of Jesus cries out “REDEEMED!” (Galatians 3:13-14.) This is for all of God’s seed, mankind, who accept His sacrifice for our sin stained souls and allow Him to wash them clean with His Blood and renew our spirit by giving us a new spirit by the Holy Spirit. (Ezekiel 36:26-27; John 3:6; 2 Corinthians 5:17.) What Jesus did lasts for eternity! (*See “Second Death” for more.) If you have ever seen the video of Ron Wyatt who discovered the Ark of the Covenant in Jerusalem and the Blood of Jesus that dripped down the Cross into the ground and onto the Ark - Ron had it DNA tested. Typical humans have 46 chromosomes. 23 from the mother and 23 from the father. Jesus’ Blood has 23 from Mary and 1 from Father God!! Blood Type comes from the father!!! It was the Blood of Father God that was spilled on the Cross and at Gethsemane!!! Another theory from what I see in scripture: the dead in Christ being raised at the rapture (1 Corinthians 15:42- - I think there is an element of the Spirit of Life still in the blood of all who died on the earth. It is separated from them and those who have died need to be restored completely. As I just spoke of Ron Wyatt, Biblical Archeologist who discovered the Blood of Jesus in the 1980’s at the burial site/cross site in Jerusalem, when he had it tested it still had “life” in it! Cells were still moving in Jesus’ very own Blood! A human can’t survive with only 24 chromosomes. But God made manifest in the flesh, Jesus Christ can and did!! (2) “My Spirit will not always remain in humans forever…” - this! The seed war means there will be seed that does not have the Spirit of God, the breath of God, within them. It’s the serpent’s seed. Look at Daniel 9. Just as God said the Nephilim (Hebrew for “giants”) was at that time (Genesis 6:4) and after!!! God’s seed, the seed of mankind, the seed of the woman, has been written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world. God made sure we could not be taken by the serpent for eternity. (Ephesians 1:3-6; Revelation 17:8; Titus 1:2 - out of two or three witnesses let every word be established, 2 Corinthians 13:1.) (See article on “The Second Death” for more on this.) There is a book by a psychologist by the name of David Jacobs PhD, entitled: Walking Among Us. He was not Christian at the writing of his book, I don’t know if that has changed yet, but the book is interesting. It may be a bit “out there” for some. It’s about his practice for over 20-30 years on “alien abductions”. This is what his entire practice eventually covered. I say that because he, like most of us, thought the “alien thing” was all ridiculous and these people who had started coming to him, he believed, were simply having hallucinations. By using scientific practice he realized that yes, something was actually happening. “There is no such thing as a ‘group delusion,’” he stated. He dedicated his entire practice to this because of what he found. He notes, there are “non-humans” walking around us and have been increasing over the decades. Seed of the serpent. (The book is available online. You can also look up L.A. Marzulli for his ministry on researching Nephilim archeological evidence, alien abductions research and the like at: www.lamarzulli.net ) (3) Nephilim: there is archeological evidence of mammoth cities and structures, and even technology that surpasses what we have today. Yes, pyramids in Egypt and Stonehenge are what people typically think of but there are many more all over the world. Including in America. These are old. Really old. Like 40,000 years BC. And older. Before Adam. Look at Genesis 1:2 again…darkness was on the face of the waters. It is entirely possible the earth was first flooded here. Before Noah. And we know why the flood happened with Noah. The Nephiliim. Fallen angels bred with women. They have also messed with animals. Remember, earth is their domain even in the fallen state. Extra-Biblical texts like Book of Enoch talks about it and so does every mythology from every civilization around the globe. Creatures that are part “man” and part beast, like the Centaur or Minotaur; and many mixed creatures like the Griffon or Pegasus. Every culture around the planet has these stories. What if some of these “experiments” are what happened before Genesis 1 and that is why God first flooded the earth. His fallen angles were messing around trying to create like God but was making horrid atrocities. Just like the story of The Island of Dr. Moreau. There is also at least one ice age geologically evidenced and now scientists are saying there may have been two. We know the first one took out the dinosaurs from archeological evidence. This is before Adam. There is archeological evidence in Texas of a dinosaur foot print with an extremely large human footprint next to it, a giant - Nephilim perhaps, or some other extremely large humanoid creature. It seems they were walking together. There are even skeletal remains often times in mounds all over the globe of giants that have been reported. There have been skeletal remains also found in caves. There’s one more part to Nephilim if you would like to study this out in the Bible - notice the phrase in Genesis 6:4 - “(Nephilim) were heroes of old, men of renown.” KJV says: “Mighty men of old.” If you look up all scriptures that talk of “mighty men” or “mighty” or “heroes” - They always are Nephilim. Giants. In fact, all of the civilizations that are mentioned, I call them the “-ites” like: Canaanites, Hittites, Moabites, Amalakites, Ammonites, …etc all had Nephilim DNA in them. Especially the tribes of “im’s” - Anakim, Rephaim, etc. There’s a lot of scripture on them. Including scripture that is prophetic, hasn’t occurred quite yet, like Joel 2 and 3. Nephilim were in the days of Noah and after that: Anak: ”neck", a giant people around Hebron and in Philistia - Deuteronomy 1:28; chapter 2, 9, 23; Joshua 11 and 14; Nehemiah 13. Rephaim: proper name, of a people old race of giants, in land of Canaan - Genesis 14-15; Deuteronomy 2-3; Joshua 12, 14-15, 17; 2 Samuel 5, 21, 23; 1 Chronicles 11, 14; 20; Isaiah 17:5-6. Here are more scriptures on giants: 1 Samuel 17 2 Samuel 21, 23 1 Chronicles 20 Numbers 13, 21:21-35, 32:33 Deuteronomy 1-4, 9, 29, 31 Job 16:14 Joshua 2, 9, 12-13, 15, 17-18 Psalm 135:10-12 Psalm 136:17-24 Nehemiah 9:22 5. Jesus Christ on the Earth It is so important to understand the Authority that God the Father gave us over all evil in this world - THIS is our realm, not the fallen ones, God gave us Authority in this realm - over satan and the fallen angels and everything they have attempted and are attempting to do. Our battle is not with flesh and blood but principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in heavenly places because they are the evil overseers of this world in it’s fallen state. We can see this is the the fallen ones still in their callings in operation over the earth, where they were placed by God before they chose to rebel. BUT God gave us His Authority over them, “not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit says the Lord of hosts” - Zechariah 4:6. Look in Genesis and Luke: Genesis 1:26-28 - “And God said, Let us (1) make man in our (1) image, after our (1) likeness: and let them have dominion (2) over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.’ So God created man in His own image (1), in the image of God created He him: male and female, created He them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, ‘Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish (3) the earth, and subdue (3) it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth. (2)’” Luke 10:17-19 - “The seventy-two returned with joy and said, ‘Lord, even the demons submit to us in Your Name.’ He replied, ‘I saw satan fall like lightning from heaven. I have given you Authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.’” Make man in “Our” image , “Our likeness”, “Let Us”: Who is God talking about here? Let’s take a look at two Biblical scholars, one is a Rabbi and the other is Biblical Scholar Michael Heisser: Rabbi Roshi at chabad.org and TetzeTorah.com comments on this verse: “Let us make man: From here we learn the humility of the Holy One, blessed be He. Since man was created in the likeness of the angels, and they would envy him, He consulted them. And when He judges kings, He consults with His Heavenly household, for so we find regarding Ahab, that Micah said to him (1 Kings 22:19): “I saw the Lord seated on His throne, and all the host of heaven were standing by Him, on His right and on His left.” Now the “left” or “right” apply to Him?! But rather, [the passage means that] these [angles] were standing on the right to defend, and these [angels] were standing on the left to prosecute. Likewise, (Dan. 4:14 Tankh): “By the decree of the destructive angels is the matter, and by the word of the holy ones is the edict.” Here too He took counsel with His heavenly household. He said to them, “Among the heavenly beings, there are some in My likeness. If there are none in My likeness among the earthly beings, there will be envy among the creatures of the Creation.” - [From Tanchuma, Shemoth 18: Gen. Rabbah 8:11, 14:13]. “Let us make man”: Even though they [the angles] did not assist Him in His creation, and there is an opportunity for the heretics to rebel (to misconstrue the plural as a basis for their heresies). Scripture did not hesitate to teach proper conduct and the trait of humility, that a great person should consult with and receive permission from a smaller one. Had it been written: “I shall make man,” we would not have learned that He was speaking with His tribunal, but to Himself. And the refutation to the heretics is written alongside it [i.e. in the following verse:] “And God created,” and it does not say, “and they created.” - [from Gen. Rabbah 8:9]” Dr. Michael Heisser, Biblical scholar of both Hebrew and Greek says, “To look at Genesis 1 in light of the New Testament is faulty hermeneutics. There are other places in the Bible that talk about divine plurality (Us, Our) that would take us into bad theology. (Not properly dividing the Word.) Some say it has to do with Hebrew plurality but that only pertains to nouns. These are verbs. ‘Let Us create human kind in Our image.’ A verb and a pronoun. It’s not the plural of majesty (Father, Son, Holy Spirit). The concept is just as important. The plurals are there for a reason. They telegraph something theologically, of crucial importance about our relationship to God and members of the unseen world.” We see that God was speaking to the sons of God, the angels, to get counsel with His heavenly host when God made man. Psalm 89:5-6 - “The heavens praise your wonders, Lord, (just like Job 38), Your faithfulness too, in the assembly of the holy ones. In the council of the holy ones God is greatly feared; He is more awesome than all who surround Him.” 2. “Dominion” in Hebrew means to tread down; to subjugate; to crumble off. God gave us dominion over all the earth and all that moves on it, and in Luke 10 and Ephesians 6 He states very clearly that we have dominion over all the powers of the enemy. God Almighty has completed what needed to be done and does not allow them to do what is not written in His Word, and when they step out of bounds to His Word He doesn’t want us to put up with it either. He gave us dominion. They are defeated foes. The battle has been won! Victory is ours through the sacrificed Blood of Jesus that is still on the earth! The Blood still speaks!!! Eternally! Notice Jesus executed this Authority because of what the Father said in Genesis! Jesus treaded down the enemy, subjugated the enemy, and crumbled off all that the enemy attempted to bring against Him. He knew His Authority given to Him by God the Father, His Father. Oh, if the Church would understand this has been given to us! We are not to put up with any of the enemies mess. If we do, we dishonor the Blood of Jesus. Jesus stood on the Word spoken by His Father in Genesis to cast out devils, heal the sick, walk on the water, and stop the storms! We have been given this Authority in this realm too in Genesis, Luke, and Ephesians! Jesus only did what the Father told Him to. He did not operate beyond what the Father said. (That’s why Jesus spent so much time in prayer, to get God the Father’s plan before He did things.) Don’t move into something without getting unction from the Holy Spirit. Jesus did nothing without the Father speaking to Him. Sometimes Christian folks get into deliverance as a “ministry” and it can cause real damage. Never jump into anything like this unless the Lord is telling you to or unless you are experiencing the demonic in your life. The Holy Spirit will lead you in what to do. We don’t want to be like Joshua in Ai when he went in to destroy the city without getting God’s Word on it. (Joshua 7.) Three thousand men were killed because Joshua didn’t seek the Lord before they went in to battle. Always get the battle plan from the Lord first. He always makes perfect plans! He is THE General! 3. Replenish and Subdue: If the earth is to be “re-plenished” this means it was “plenished” before. Not grammatically correct but you get my point. And Hebrew definition of subdue means “to assault; brought them into subjection; forced into bondage; forcing; trample; tread under foot.” Adam and Eve were to do this. Although they did not, Jesus certainly did!! And He taught us to do it too. Don’t put up with the devil’s mess. He is under your feet by the Blood of Jesus! The eternal covenant in the Blood of Jesus. THE BLOOD SPEAKS! This brings much more to the mix than what we have understood before in Genesis 1 and put it in light of what Jesus did because of this Word. He understood the depth and the eternal context of what it means. Because He was God manifested in the flesh, He had to deal with sin-nature within His own flesh. He NEVER submitted to it. He was without sin, 1 Corinthians 5:21, that is why the devil couldn’t hold Him in hell. It was illegal. As 1 Corinthians 2:6-8 says, “Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect (mature): yet not the wisdom of this world, nor the princes of this world, that are coming to nothing: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” 6. Last Bit: Details on the Crucifixion Crucifixion is one of the most brutal deaths at that time. And this was the ultimate physical torture Jesus had to go through to pay our price, our ransom from the devil and his hordes. Romans learned it from the Carthaginians, and they used it as a means of capital punishment for a thousand years. Crucifixions were designed to cause maximum pain for a prolonged period. Contrary to some tales of being tied with rope, they usually nailed wrists and feet to the wooden cross. Often the death would take several days. Birds and other animals would begin to feed on their bodies before they died. They would slowly suffocate from the position of hanging - the weight of their torso because they couldn’t hold it up on their own, would collapse on their lungs. They usually died from slow suffocation. It was a punishment typically carried out for slaves. Perfect - since mankind was made a slave under the kingdom of darkness. Jesus took the punishment of a slave. Jesus did this for all the consequences of sin upon mankind’s mistakes. “The wages of sin is death.” In other words, the result of all our mistakes is death. Jesus paid the ransom so we don’t have to. Many times those who were condemned to die this way were whipped before being nailed on a cross. Increasing the pain of raw wood scraping against torn flesh. 40 lashes were known to kill a man. Jesus was lashed with 39. The whips were braided leather strands, usually at least 3 separate braided strands with pieces of metal woven into them increased the tearing of the flesh down to the bone. The crown of thorns that was put mockingly upon Jesus’ head to symbolize being a King with a mocking sign for them but it told the truth: “King of the Jews” and so much more, King of kings and Lord of lords…meaning not just of the physical realm of kings and lords but of the spiritual realm of principalities, powers, and rulers. Jesus’ Name is above every name! (Philippians 2.) But these powers didn’t understand. Had they known this was the turning point for them they would have never done it (1 Corinthians 2:6-8). His “crown” had thorns that went through His skin into His skull. Incredibly brutal but it symbolized the “chastisement of our peace” (Isaiah 53), our human way of thinking. He suffered this to cover our tormented minds. He had to undergo the worst torture in every area: Spirit, soul, and body that was done at that time to save His created man because of the result of the enemy and sin. Or in basic English: mistakes. We have all made them and He took the penalty for all of it. Body, soul, and Spirit. Body: already described above and adding to it: with His torn flesh to His bones, He had to carry the cross made of raw wood against His gaping wounds. Romans typically broke the legs of those on the cross to speed up death. The death was grueling and could take up to a week but this was in Jerusalem and they had to appease the Jews by not having bodies hung on the high holy day of Passover. When the Lamb had to be sacrificed to save Israel…and mankind. So the Romans were breaking the legs of those hung on crosses that day with Jesus - two thieves. Exactly what Psalm 34:20 says, His legs were not broken because He had already died. I believe He died of a broken heart - “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” - because God the Father had to turn His back on His own Son! Never had He been separated from His Father. Ever. And everywhere He went His Blood spilled. On the Cross Jesus’ Blood dripped down the cross into the earth. Redeeming the earth and the dust mankind was made from. He paid that price for our bodies. The Life is in the Blood and the Blood speaks. (See Ron Wyatt’s videos on the Blood and where it went into the earth.) Soul: He dealt with His soul in Gethsemane. Genetically He was half-human and half God. He fought against His carnal-nature side of Himself that did not want to do this. He had to fight to get His will in line with the Father. He fought for our mental struggles when we don’t want to obey God. Jesus struggled so much something very strange happened…He sweat Blood. I have never experienced anything like this nor has anyone else I have met. It’s an extreme amount of stress that causes such a thing. And His Blood was spilt. It went into the earth for tormented minds - tormented souls. He paid that price. That’s why scripture says His Blood cleanses us with eternal redemption and from our guilt: Hebrews 9:12-14 - “This is an illustration pointing to the present time. For the gifts and sacrifices that the priests offer are not able to cleanse the consciences of the people who bring them. 10. For that old system deals only with food and drink and various cleansing ceremonies—physical regulations that were in effect only until a better system could be established. Christ Is the Perfect Sacrifice. 11. So Christ has now become the High Priest over all the good things that have come. He has entered that greater, more perfect Tabernacle in heaven, which was not made by human hands and is not part of this created world. 12. With His own blood—not the blood of goats and calves—He entered the Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever. 13. Under the old system, the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer could cleanse people’s bodies from ceremonial impurity. 14. Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deeds so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered Himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins.” Spirit: Jesus had to undergo all that mankind goes through including death in Spirit. Spiritual death means “separation” from God. Jesus had never been separate from His Father. He had never experienced that before. When you look at Matthew 27; Mark 15; John 19 you can see that Jesus was praying for those who crucified Him, “Forgive them for they know not what they do.” And it was not long on the Cross before He gave up His Spirit after He “died” Spiritually - separated from God. God had to turn His back on Jesus - He couldn’t look upon Him because of the sin - God would have destroyed Him, His only begotten Son, because of the sin He took on for us. His heart/soul - had morphed into a sin-ridden tormented soul of all the sin of mankind. If the Father looked at Jesus it would have destroyed Him - just like Exodus 33 with Moses. He paid that price. There are many Old Testament scriptures about Jesus. More details on Jesus at the Cross in the Old Testament than in the New: Zechariah 12:10; Psalm 22; Psalm 34:20; Isaiah 52-53; Isaiah 7:14; Psalm 69:1-4, 7-36; Psalm 23:1-6; Numbers 9:12; Leviticus 23:5; Exodus 12:22, 46. There are more Old Testament scriptures that give insight. Don’t read it like reading news headlines. This had to do with what He took on as a human to pay the price - Yes, God in flesh and He had to take on the worst of mankind at the time of rebellion to pay the price. His human family was not wealthy. You can tell by the sacrifice Mary brought the priest after Jesus’ birth, Luke 2:24, two turtle doves. According to Levitical law this was a substitute for the sacrifice of the lamb if one couldn’t afford it. She didn’t have the money for a lamb…although she had the greatest substitute…THE LAMB - Jesus. HE was our substitute for our sacrifice! Oh, there so much revelation in every Word of the Bible if you will allow the Lord to show you! It’s not a “happenstance” the little things that are mentioned. There is great revelation there. [Micah 5:2; Hosea 11:1; Isaiah 9:6-7; Genesis 3:15; Zechariah 9:9 (there is revelation about the “colt”- it has to do with Authority); Jeremiah 23:5; Isaiah 11:1; Psalm 16:10; Isaiah 50:6; Isaiah 42:1; Psalm 2:7; Genesis 49:10; Zechariah 13:7; Zechariah 11:12; Isaiah 61:1-2; Isaiah 49:7 (the “kings” and “princes” are the fallen angels); Isaiah 9:1; Psalm 110:1; *Psalm 68:18; Psalm 2; Deuteronomy 18; Genesis 12:3.] The law of Leviticus 12:8 two turtle doves are substituted for the normal sacrifice of a lamb as a burnt-offering, and a pigeon or dove as a sin-offering, when the mother was “not able” to offer the lamb. This fact is an indication of the poverty of Joseph and his espoused wife. By Jesus coming in a state of poverty, has shown that it is not dishonorable to be poor. (“Jesus became poor so that we might become rich” - 2 Corinthians 8:9.) And yet His garment had no seems…it was an expensive garment that He was stripped of at the crucifixion, again there’s revelation in that. (No station is dishonorable where "God" places us. He knows what is best for us.) And the offering had to be made in the Temple. This was likely to happen in Jerusalem preceding the visit of the Magi who brought gold, frankincense, and myrrh. After that, it would have been perilous due to Herod sending out soldiers to kill children, as Matthew 2 states they immediately left for Egypt. “Egypt” alway symbolizes the “world” in scripture. He was in it, but not of it. When you grasp how big the sacrifice of Jesus was and the depth to which God the Father went to save mankind not only from making mistakes (sin) but to put an end to Lucifer and his angels, you know you can never loose your salvation. If you could, that would be dishonoring Jesus’ Blood. What He did exceeds this “time-line” and goes throughout eternity. That’s why it’s “eternal salvation” mentioned all over the New Testament - there are over 460 verses where it’s mentioned. Out of 2 or 3 witnesses let every word be established. Jesus was God in flesh paying the ultimate sacrifice for all sin and God’s seed, the seed of the woman, God’s seed is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life from the foundation of the world. Look at 1 Corinthians 5:17-18 and Romans 6:23 and many, many others. But what the sin does is get in the way of your relationship with God. You won’t be able to hear Him clearly. Simply repent of it. Truly change you heart about the situation and allow Him to cause you to think differently; and ask the Holy Spirit to let you know if/when you are likely to get caught up in it again, He will show you. Just follow His leading. Whatever He tells you to do, simply do it. CONCLUSION Next time you receive Holy Communion, think on these things! For this is what it’s about. We are to put ourselves in remembrance of this. We are now in union with Him. He has paid the sacrifice for us. Going a step further, I believe we have been written in the Lamb’s Book of Life from the foundation of the world so God could get His seed back from the enemy. His creation back into union with Him - Ephesians 1:4-6 - “For He chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight, in love” and Revelation 13:8 - “All who dwell on the earth will worship him (antichrist), everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain.” God’s eternal plan is to save ALL of His created ones. He would have all men to be saved and come unto the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). This is not simply a “nice thought.” NO! This is a promise that God made to Himself! He will bring it to pass. 2 Peter 3:9 - “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise (to Himself), as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (*See the article: The Second Death.) I pray that the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what it is that God expects (to bring you and all mankind back to Him from the fallen state) which is: He would have that all men be saved from the fall and come unto the knowledge of the truth of what happened, and why He had to do it. (Ephesians 1:18 and 1 Timothy 2:4.) Titus 1:2; 2:13-14; 3:4-7 - ”in the hope of eternal life, which God, Who cannot lie, promised before the beginning of time…Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all wickedness and to purge for Himself a people that are His very own, eager to do what is good…But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that (we) having been justified by His grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.” Colossians 1:12-14 - “and giving joyful thanks to the Father, Who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of His holy people in the kingdom of light. For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in Whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” Now may the God of peace, Who through the Blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing His will, and may He work in us what is pleasing to Him, through Jesus Christ, to Whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. - Hebrews 13:20-21.

  • Discernment | Kamp Jesus

What is discernment, how to do I know God is leading me, Do all believers have discernment, How do I hear from God, Discernment Article is below. For downloadable PDF click link. PDF Discernment Discernment - How to Listen to the Holy Spirit 1Corinthians 2:14 - "But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God : for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. " Discernment : Noun - the act or process of exhibiting keen insight and good judgment ; to distinguish one thing from another; the power of viewing differences and their relations and tendencies; judgment; to distinguish between things; perceive differences that exist; the condition of understanding.i How to Listen to the Holy Spirit - is the Key to Discernment. The key to Godly Discernment is listening to the Holy Spirit. He is the One Who will judge the rightness or wrongness of situations from within us. How do we “hear” from Him? First we have to have a foundation of “how” we hear from God. Spending time in God’s Word is a “must have” to hear from the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit works with the Word. No Word, No hearing clearly from the Holy Spirit. And if you don’t know “how’ God speaks by spending time in His Word, you won’t be able to judge if what you “heard” or what impression you got was from the Holy Spirit or not. The Word is how we are to judge. God’s Word is truth and God can’t lie. Everything God has spoken in His Word is actually a covenant - it is truth and it can’t change - John 17:17; Titus 1:2; Numbers 23:19. And God is always right. Once we have made that decision in our minds that God is always right, we won’t doubt what He has said. We may not understand it but He will reveal it to us when the time is right. Therefore we take John 10:1-5, 27 as a fact. More than that, as truth: “Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber. 2 The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 The gatekeeper opens the gate for Him, and the sheep listen to His voice. He calls His own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 When He has brought out all His own, He goes on ahead of them, and His sheep follow Him because they know His voice. 5 But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice. 27 My sheep hear My Voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” There are very important things in this passage for us to embrace: Jesus is our Shepherd, We listen to His Voice, He calls us by name; He leads us out and goes on ahead of us; We follow Him because we know His Voice; We will never follow a stranger and will run away from a stranger because we do not recognize the stranger’s voice; We hear Jesus’ Voice, He knows us, We follow Him. That’s a home-run right there!!! Notice how much the Lord is speaking to us in that passage and leading us. That’s amazing. So now trust that. Now that we know we hear His voice, there are other elements. John 14:26 - “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.” Psalm 143:10 - “Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.” The Holy Spirit is teaching us , deep inside of us, and He reminds us of things the Lord has told us . You know how there’s something the Lord gave you a while ago and you had forgotten about it, but then suddenly it “pops” up and you remember it? That is the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:14 - “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.” Psalm 31:3 - “Since You are My rock and My fortress, for the sake of Your Name lead and guide me. As the Holy Spirit is bringing things to your remembrance He is leading you. Sometimes the “leading” comes as a “hunch.” How you judge it is: “is this thought/action in line with God’s Word?” If the answer is yes, then do it. If it is not, get rid of the thought by casting it down in the Name of Jesus, then replace that thought with the Word of God that is contrary to it (2 Corinthians 10:3-6). As the Holy Spirit leads you, you will have “peace” about it in your inner man and a “light” sense to it - no heaviness, and you’ll have “joy” because you now have insight to something that you hadn’t had before. John 14:16 - “And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter (Helper), that He may abide with you for ever;” As the Holy Spirit is leading you another scripture that shows more to this is Philippians 1:9-11 prayer - pray this over yourself! “And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, 10 so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, 11 filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.” And then praise God for having done this! Expect to be led by the love of God throughout your day. Another way of recognizing the Holy Spirit is that He is our comforter. You will be comforted when you are being led by Him. He leads you in ways you weren’t thinking about before and it’s a help. He is also called the Helper. And He certainly helps. Ephesians 4:30 - “And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.” When we do something that is not God’s will for us we will have an “uneasy” sense within us. That is the grieving of the Holy Spirit. When you notice it, repent of it right away and receive your forgiveness. Then ask if there is something you should do about it. It all depends on the circumstance. Follow His leading. Follow the hunch. And when we don’t repent we will not be able to hear from God. In fact not hearing from God is for one of three reasons: sin; not spending time in the Word; or during a test. We know if we have been in the Word and most of the time we know when we’ve sinned. There can be times where it’s not on the forefront of our minds and we forget that we didn’t do what the Lord had asked, or didn’t respond to a dream/or vision He gave us in the correct manner like a warning dream or vision. Whatever the situation get into prayer. Ask the Lord for where you missed it. Ask for forgiveness. Receive it. And go into praise. Sometimes simply spending time is praise is the easiest way to “clean” ourselves up. Colossians 3:15-16 AMP - Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts [deciding and settling questions that arise]. To this peace indeed you were called as members in one body [of believers]. And be thankful [to God always]. 16 Let the [spoken] word of Christ have its home within you [dwelling in your heart and mind--permeating every aspect of your being]…” When we are being led by the Holy Spirit don’t move on the leading until you have peace about it. If you have questions about it in your mind, this means you do not have peace. Luke 12:12 - ESV “for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.” Trust the Holy Spirit in everything. He’s our Helper. Our Comforter. He gives us Peace. He will give you the right words to say, if you let Him. It’s in: Ephesians 6:20 and 1 Corinthians 1:5-7, with 1 Corinthians 12:7-8: "19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,” "5 For in Him (the Holy Spirit) you have been enriched in every way—with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge— 6 God thus confirming our testimony about Christ among you. 7 Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed.” "7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: 8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit,” So far from the scriptures we have seen, the Holy Spirit: Teaches us Brings to our remembrance the things the Lord has told us He leads us He guides us He comforts us He helps us He seals us until the Day Jesus comes He gives us words to speak to others. Many times we will find ourselves speaking and not knowing what we are saying. We are hearing the Words as they come out of our mouth. He gives us boldness He gives us knowledge that we couldn’t have gotten any other way. We have all the Spiritual Giftings that He has. Important to note: giftings are always for other people through you. He doesn’t give them to you for yourself. He gives you wisdom and revelation knowledge He gives you peace. Something else important to note, Ephesians 3:16-19 - “16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Let’s briefly unpack two parts to this passage: Holy Spirit strengthens you and grounds you in the love of God WHICH passes His knowledge. Romans 5:5 says the Love of God has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. Since we have the Holy Spirit, we have the Love of God inside of us. As we give heed to His promptings, leadings, thoughts - which all go in line with His Word - we will have His knowledge. Godly knowledge. Not the world’s knowledge. 1 Corinthians 1:6-16 - “6 However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God [c]ordained before the ages for our glory, 8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit Who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. 13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. 16 For “who has known the Mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the Mind of Christ. The Holy Spirit knows the deep things of God and He is in you leading you! That’s amazing! And we weigh out what we are “getting” deep within us, we weigh it against the Word. And whatever He tells you to do, do. This is how you operate in “discernment.” Another way the Holy Spirit leads us is by revealing things. I call these “ah-ha” moments. It’s when something “pops” up within you or a thought from within you that answers the question your pondering. It’s like the “light-bulb” turning on. Usually we say, “ah-ha! I got it!” 1 Corinthians 2:10 - “these are the things God has revealed to us by His Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.” He guides us through our own consciences Romans 9:1 - ESV “I am speaking the truth in Christ—I am not lying; my conscience bears me witness in the Holy Spirit—“ It’s very important to follow your “conscience.” If we violate it that can cause damage to our heart and inhibit our “hearing” from the Lord, hinder our growth, and our lives: 1 Timothy 1:19 - “holding on to faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and so have suffered shipwreck with regard to the faith.” 1 Peter 3:16 says to keep a clear conscience. No matter what, keep a clear conscience. Conclusion: Discernment is about weighing out right from wrong by weighing these things against the Word of God and the Holy Spirit - John 4:24 And THE most important way to hear God’s Voice is through knowing His Word. God only speaks in line with His Word. Knowledge of God’s Word can help us to discern whether or not our desires come from the Holy Spirit. We must test our inclinations against Scripture—the Holy Spirit will never lead us to do anything contrary to God’s Word. If it conflicts with the Bible, then it is not from the Holy Spirit and should be cast down as a vain imagination in the Name of Jesus, and then replaced with the Word of God that opposes it. As 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says stay in prayer always. How I use this is I keep the Lord on my mind all day long. I speak with Him all day long and I let Him lead me all throughout the day. Not only does this keep our hearts and minds open to the Holy Spirit’s leading, but it also allows the Spirit to speak on our behalf: “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God” Romans 8:26–27 . We can tell if we are following the Spirit’s leading by looking for signs of His fruit in our lives Galatians 5:22–23 . If we walk in the Spirit, we will continue to see these qualities grow and mature in us, and they will become evident to others as well. You’ll begin to notice how people speak of you and say things like how you always are happy, and trustworthy, and they always feel good around you. This is all part of the fruit of the Spirit. It is important to note that we have the choice whether or not to accept the Holy Spirit’s guidance. When we know the will of God but do not follow it, we are resisting the Spirit’s work in our lives Acts 7:51 ; 1 Thessalonians 5:19 , and a desire to follow our own way grieves Him Ephesians 4:30 . The Spirit will never lead us into sin . Habitual sin will cause us to miss what the Holy Spirit wants to say to us through the Word. Being in tune with God’s will, turning from and confessing sin, and making a habit of prayer and the study of God’s Word will allow us to recognize—and follow—the Spirit’s leading. As you do these things and follow the Holy Spirit you will be able to discern right from wrong. And the challenges in the not-so-easy things to discern like, “Is this where my daughter should go to school? Should I take this job? Is this where I should be living?” Will go easy as you keep “leaning” in to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. He will always lead you right.

PDF Advantage in Life God's Way Advantage in Life God’s Way Changing Your Perspective Knowing Who to Trust There are times when it’s good, even helpful and appropriate, to know the “goods” on a person or situation. Like… “Which day care can I trust?” “Where should we go for lunch?” “What time should I leave for the airport?” It’s that kind of valuable information that can give you an edge in life. And what better source to go to for anything you need to know than God. He sees everything—Hebrews 4:13. He knows everything—1 John 3:20. Did you know God’s sitting on a world of information right now, just waiting to pass it along to you, so you can have every advantage in life? God’s not trying to keep things from us. He’s trying to get things to us — like information and knowledge. Genesis 6—God warned Noah of a flood. Genesis 41—God prepared Joseph for abundance and famine. Luke 5; Matthew 17; John 21—Jesus told His disciples where to fish. But even more amazing is one of the time-tested, sure ways God has of downloading what’s in His head to yours: Amos 3:7 says, “Surely the Lord God will do nothing without revealing His secret to His servants the prophets.” Once when Israel was about to be attacked by three enemies at the same time, the king called a national day of prayer to get help from God. (2 Chronicles 20). As a great gathering of people stood outside the Temple in Jerusalem praying and worshipping God, the Spirit came upon a man, and he began to prophesy, basically giving Israel a battle strategy. It sounded crazy—but it worked! God often uses prophets to get valuable information into the hands of His people. There are 5 action steps that will give you an advantage in life God’s way: 1. Expect God to speak. Jesus was praying out loud in public one day, and God responded in an audible voice (John 12:28-30). Some of the people around Jesus heard it; others thought it was thunder. Don’t get caught snoozing and miss out on what God’s saying. Expect to hear from Him. 2. Get used to God’s style. We all have our way of saying things. God likes speaking the end from the beginning, letting us know what’s coming down the road (Isaiah 46:10). It’s His way of letting us know He’s God. Get used to God speaking to you from the future. 3. Know who’s really doing the talking. Jesus once asked His disciples a question to see if they were on the same page, and they all had pretty good answers—but Peter’s was the best, to which Jesus replied: “This was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by My Father in heaven” (Matthew 16:17, NIV). Recognize the real Source behind the words. 4. Get a second (or third) opinion. “Two or three prophets should speak and the others should weigh carefully what is said” (1 Corinthians 14:29, NIV). This comes from a principle and practice established by God: “On the [word] of two or three witnesses a matter shall be confirmed” (Deuteronomy 19:15). 5. Keep it in your face. Romans 10:17 says that “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God” (NKJV). We all have those things we highlight, #tag, bookmark, stick on the fridge; those habits that help motivate, prompt and focus us in the right direction. Do what it takes to keep God’s fresh Word to you in your face—and thereby, you’ll be building your faith. God’s all in when it comes to giving you every advantage possible. So, when He gives a Word, heads-up or valuable piece of insider information—jump on it, act on it. Practice these 5 Steps To Gaining the Advantage God’s Way—and dare to trust Him to bring His Word to pass!

Warfare, Armor of God, How do I put on the armor of God, What does the armor of God mean, Authority, Armor of God is the Armor of Light Article below or click link for PDF PDF Armor of God is the Armor of Light “The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.” - Romans 13:12 BELT OF TRUTH BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS FEET SHOD WITH THE GOSPEL OF PEACE SHEILD OF FAITH HELMET OF SALVATION SWORD OF THE SPIRIT - THE WORD OF GOD Truth; Righteousness; Peace; Faith; Salvation, and the Word of God are more than words. THEY’RE ARMOR and they are WEAPONS. Ephesians 6:10-18 NKJV The Whole Armor of God 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole Armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having Girded Your Waist With Truth, having put on the Breastplate of Righteousness, 15 and having Shod Your Feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace; 16 above all, taking the Shield of Faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the Helmet of Salvation, and the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— LEARN HOW TO APPLY THEM!! What He accomplished by His death and resurrection IS our armor. It is Jesus who IS our armor! Read the 91st Psalm in that light. He is our shield. How? By what we declare! “I will say of the Lord…”. What is it you say of the Lord during your day? In verse 14 it says “Because he holds fast to Me in love I will delver him…”. It’s always about our relationship with the Father. Jesus died on the cross to restore that relationship. All of this is knowing who you are by Jesus’ death and resurrection AND believe it and speak it in order to stand in HIS spiritual armor. When we do not, then we will constantly struggle. I know, I share this from experience. God’s Word and Prayer are essential in this ongoing warfare and is a part of our armor. And do not forget Praise, the mightiest weapon of them all! (Psalm 149:6-9; 145:18-21; 148.) Use it daily by confessing what the Word says about you, who you are in Christ Jesus and what is yours by Jesus’ death and resurrection in your every day life. Remember - Jesus said by your words are you justified and by your words are you condemned. What kind of words do you speak about yourself? Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil ( 1 John 3 ). This battle against the enemy is not “one and done.” It is ongoing until we are raptured or go by the grave. And whatever we are not taking Authority over in Jesus Name, we are submitting to. And we take Authority by what we speak! Read that again: Whatever we are not dealing with in prayer, we are submitting to! I’ve heard brothers and sisters pray putting on the whole armor as something physical not realizing it’s the knowing of who we are in Jesus that is our armor and protection. For example: we only have access to the whole armor of God through who we believe we are to Jesus and Father God. The Father sent Jesus to die for you!!! Meditate on that one if you haven’t. If we haven’t truly received our forgiveness of sins through the spilt blood of Jesus, we will have problems. Because we don’t know what is truly ours. We only have access to the “pieces” of the armor by what we believe. As is all things in Christ. Remember, He will never leave you nor forsake you! Our loins are girt about, covered, by what we truly know from the Word of God - not what we parrot out just because we’ve heard it so many times…do you actually believe it? And actually walk in it? The Word is truth and the more of it we grasp, the more of it we walk in. Our feet shod with the preparation of the Good News of what Jesus did for us, means we live it. Each day. It is how we operate our daily lives. The breastplate of righteousness covers our heart with the Righteousness of God, of which we should have received when we got born again. But many brothers and sisters have no idea that Jesus took our sin and gave us His right-standing with God. It was an exchange. WE have it, whether believers know it or not. The shield of faith - what we believe from the Word is a shield to us from attacks of the enemy, whether it’s illness, bouts of anger, lying tongue, etc. or manifestation of demonic spirits: our shield is knowing for an absolute fact what Jesus died and rose from the dead to give us! If you haven’t read the article on the Crucifixion, do it. It will help! Continuing on : the helmet of salvation IS the Word that we mediate on that protects and delivers our thoughts from lies -whether they are lies we tell ourselves or the enemy and is always, always the first place where the enemy attacks. It is also the place we have to re-train. Our own soul-ish way of thinking when it is contrary to what God has said about us needs to have a “make-over” from the Word of God. WE do that by speaking the Word to ourselves. Repeatedly. Until that is how our mind thinks. Finally, the sword of the Spirit is the Word of God that we speak over ourselves and our family when attacks come from the enemy, like Jesus in the wilderness. It is a weapon! People only speak what they believe. If you don’t know “where” you are with this, listen to the things you say. It will show you. Revelation 19:15 (Jesus) “And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.” Jesus knows who He is in God the Father. Do you? The tongue smites. Read James 3 if you haven’t. * FIRST: Find out who you are in Christ. Study every scripture stating, “in Christ, in Him, in Whom.” THAT my brethren, is your Whole Armor of God. The Word is Truth . Discover what your Truth is in Jesus. Then speak it over yourself and your family. The Belt of Truth What is your truth in Jesus? What is the Truth that you know beyond all shadow of a doubt? That Truth is what will gird you and enable you to stand tall and erect before sin, temptation and attack, defeating it. 2. The Breastplate of Righteousness 2 Corinthians 5:21 - “God made Him Who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the Righteousness of God”. Receiving Jesus in our hearts allowed us to become the very Righteousness of God. So, what does that mean? There are three main points to consider. 1: It’s Not Earned, It’s Given Through Exchange The unique thing about God’s Righteousness and God seeing you as approved is that there’s not enough you could ever do to earn God’s approval. God’s Righteousness is not earned, it is given through exchange. Here is how the exchange works: Christ takes on our sin, in fact He became our sin and in exchange for our sin we receive His righteousness. To be declared Righteous in God’s sight you must be willing to put all your sin on Christ and take up His Righteousness. Sometimes that’s hard to grasp because it sounds too good to be true, but thankfully it is true. If you will allow Him, God will take your sin and exchange it for His Righteousness. And when you received Jesus into your heart and made Him your Lord, you did just that - whether you know it or not. 2: It’s Not Bought, It’s Paid For Another wonderful aspect of God’s Righteousness is that it really doesn’t cost you anything, but it cost Jesus everything. Romans 5:9 - “So, now that we have been made Righteous by His Blood, we can be even more certain that we will be saved from God’s wrath through Him”. You are declared Righteous and Justified because of the Blood of Jesus Christ. If you have received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior then this moment, right now, you are Righteous in God’s sight. All the sin stains are gone. Paid for by the Blood of Jesus and applied to your account so that your sinful account is now paid in full. All of it! There is nothing more required. 3: It’s Not Temporary, It’s Eternal We know that sometimes Christians struggle with sin, repentance, forgiveness , and God’s Righteousness. One thing you must understand is that God’s Declaration of Righteousness over you is not temporary – it’s eternal. In a legal courtroom when a case is dismissed, sometimes it is dismissed with prejudice. What this means is the case is dismissed forever. That issue is over and done with, once and for all. That case can never be brought before the courts again. When God declares you Righteous He is in effect dismissing your original sin case with prejudice. Consider this passage in Romans: Romans 3:21-24 “But now apart from the Law the Righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This Righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus”. God’s declaration of Righteousness over your life has made you right in His sight both now and forever. It is one of the most important things to know about the Righteousness of God. Your problem of original sin has been dealt with and you are not only the Righteousness of God, you become His very special possession. In short, you belong to Him both now and forever. How Does God’s Righteousness Apply When I Sin? It is important to understand the role sin plays in relation to God’s Declaration of Righteousness. As I mentioned one of the important things to know about the Righteousness of God is that it dealt with your original sin. The sin that separated you from God, that would have condemned you to an eternity apart from God has been tried and dealt with and dismissed with prejudice. That’s why Paul could write in Romans 8:1 “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” By the way, Paul wrote these words right after talking about the struggle we all face with our sinful nature in Romans 7 :18-19 “For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do — this I keep on doing”. I am sure you can clearly understand the fight that Paul is having. I certainly can. Paul acknowledges that in this body you will have struggles with your sinful nature, this is why we get new bodies at the rapture/resurrection, however that struggle does not disqualify your Right Standing with God. In fact, one of the meanings of the word condemnation is the penalty that comes down after standing trial. Because you are the Righteousness of God, you have stood trial and been found not guilty and there is no eternal penalty! Does This Give Me a License to Sin? IT DOES NOT! I would say that a person who views God’s Grace or Declaration of Righteousness as a license to sin has no understanding of Justification or Grace. While sin may not affect your Declaration of Righteousness, it does affect your ability to have close fellowship with God. That’s why when you sin you need to repent quickly because it keeps the fellowship open between you and God. The other side of the sin coin is that sin does have potential consequences. Just because it doesn’t remove your declaration or lead to condemnation, you may still have to pay the price in this life over sinful choices. The difference is the price you pay is temporary and not eternal because that has already been dealt with. So with the help of the Holy Spirit, avoid sin at all costs. But should you fall into sin, repent quickly so you will be able to maintain your beautiful fellowship with the Father. How Do I Become More Righteous? This is a good question to consider, but it’s the wrong question. One of the things to know about the Righteousness of God is that it is not something you become, it is something you are. Once you are declared Right with God or approved by God, you don’t become more right. If I were to consider this question I would ask, how do I become more like Christ? Your goal as a believer should be; to look, act, think, and behave like Christ did. When you do this, you reflect who He is in the earth. This is what God desires in our lives anyway. So don’t seek to be more righteous, you already are, seek to be more like Christ. The best part is the Holy Spirit is here to help you do it. Ezekiel 36:26-27 “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put My Spirit in you and move you to follow My decrees and be careful to keep My laws.” Today my brothers and sisters, you are Declared Righteous. Do this one thing. Live like it. No matter what you “feel” like. You are Righteous with God. With the help of the Holy Spirit live like one who has been tried and found not guilty, because that is what you are. Live today knowing that if you are in Christ, you have and are the Righteousness of God. You don’t have to doubt or ever question it again. This is the Breastplate of Righteousness that protects your heart. 3. Feet Shod with The Gospel of Peace We stand on our feet alert, always ready to share the blessings of the good news of peace. Peace between man and God. Standing tall on the foundation of Jesus our Rock!. 4. Shield of Faith In every battle, we take our faith as our wrap-around shield, for it extinguishes the blazing arrows coming at us from the evil one! Those arrows of temptation, doubt and unbelief, anxiety, fear and condemnation. AS an example: Matthew 14: 29-31 “And He said, “Come.” Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind and waves, he was afraid and began to sink, cried out, “Lord save me!” Peter did not walk on the water, Peter walked on the Word of Jesus when He said, “Come.” That Word “Come” sustained Peter where he would have normally sank. He was walking out on the Word, “Come”. When Peter saw the wind and the waves, he became double minded and didn’t know what to believe. satan does not have to make you disbelieve God, he just has to make you consider. The Truth of God does not consider facts. They have no relevance when it comes to the Word of God. The Word of God combined with our Substance of Faith reigns supreme. 5. Helmet of Salvation We embrace the Power of Salvation’s full deliverance, like a helmet protecting our thoughts from the lies, the slings, and arrows of the evil one. We refuse to consider anything other than what the Word of God tells us we are in Him. No matter what the enemy would try to tell us otherwise, we combat them by God’s Word. Speak to thoughts that are contrary to the Word of God, with the Word of God. 6. Sword of The Spirit/The Word Of God We use the mighty razor-sharp Spirit-Sword of the Spoken Word of God out of our mouths, combating fear, anxiety, doubt and unbelief and attacks of the enemy. Confirming God’s Word by our words of faith that we speak. Having done all, We Stand!! 7. The Armor of Light is the Armor of God “God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.” - 1 John 1:5. He is in you. His light is armor. Like Moses in the desert with God as a pillar of Fire!!! The Israelites were afraid!!! THIS is Him IN you! It’s His Armor and you have it on the moment you received Jesus!!! You can’t take it off but you have to know “Who” is in you and what it is He does and How much He loves you. REMEMBER: (you can look this up as to what His Name “YHVH” means) - The One bringing into being, The Life-giver, Giver of existence, Creator, He Who brings to pass, Performer of His promises, He Who causes to fall-rain-or lightning, Destroying foes, The One Who IS, The Absolute and Unchangeable One, The Existing, Everliving, I shall BE WITH you, He Who will be IT with you, AND He IS Who is essentially unnameable-inexplicable!! THIS is Who is in you!! He IS the Armor of Light IN us!!!! The Greater One is in you and if God be for you who can be against you! (1 John 4:4; Romans 8:31.)
